“Alright, hurry up. I’m ready to get this over and done with. My hearts in knots. I feel like I’m treading on nails.”
“Ouch,” Karen waved her wrist back and forth, “I know the feeling.”

(Bette’s busy helping a customer, when Michelle walks up behind her with flowers)
“Incoming mommy”
“What?,” Bette looked up from the book she was signing. She smiled when she saw Michelle. She embraced her friend, giving her a strong, and firm hug.
“Hey, how’s everything going?”
“Pretty god. I’m packed today. I thought you were working?”
“I was, but the boss let me go early. I’m free for the rest of the day.” Angelica frowned and buried her face in to Bette’s pin striped suit. The baby wasn’t happy at all. There was times when she wished Michelle would disappear. She wanted her mother to be the one that gave Bette flowers. Even though Bette and Michelle were friends, she was aware that Michelle wanted more than a friendship.
“That’s great,” Bette embraced her again. When Bette pulled away Michelle presented the roses in front of her. Bette blush instantly. She wasn’t expecting roses, nor was she expecting Michelle’s company that day either. What a way to start the day. “Oh my god,” Bette took a whiff of the hand picked red petals, “These are for me?”
“Yup. I was passing by this guy who was selling roses along the sidewalk, and I decided to grab you a dozen.” Michelle blushed.
“Thank you, so much. I wasn’t epecting this what so ever. You just made my day.”
“Your welcome.” Michelle grazed Bette’s cheek.
“Lindsey”
“Yes ma’am?”
“Could you put these in some fresh water. Oh, and could you grab my cellphone for me. It’s in my office on my desk.”
“Sure.”
“Mommy’s coming”
“What did you say baby?” Bette bent down to face her daughter. She couldn’t hear her though the crowd of people coversating to the top of their lungs.
“Nothing.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah. I’m going outside.”
“Okay, well, stay close to the sidewalk where I could see you.”
“Okay.”
“What’s wrong with her?”
“I don’t know. She’s been acting different all morning. She told me at least twelve times that she missed her mother. I have to do something you know. Maybe I might call Kit and see did Tina call or something. She sure hasn’t called me.”

I am suddenly reminded of Rocky Horror Picture Show with all of the names-calling (Janet! Dr. Scott! Janet! Brad! Rocky! *Rocky glares*). And OMG Tina with the memo pad. WTF!!!! She must’ve been a big fan of Back to the Future (George McFly scribbling down a bunch of sweet stuff to say to Marty’s mom only to fuck it up lol). And me a comedian? Nahhhhh I don’t consider myself on the same plane with people like Ellen DeGeneres and Robin Williams. I just prefer to make people happy and in the process possibly capture the attention of “The One.”

This is what we’ve been waiting for, like, forever. Thanks for the reunion. Isn’t it amazing how intutitive and sensitive Angelica is? She could just feel Tina’s presence in NY and was seemingly uneasy all day long. And what a shock Tina’s reappearance was for Bette…she fainted.
