    Chapter 3: “Michelle takes the girl on a stroll around the city,and Kit freaks out when Bette doesn’t call, while Tina and Karen plan a trip to the big apple”.


    Boston…

    (Tina just got out the shower and she changed into some fresh clothes. Her clothes hung from her body. She had lost at least ten pounds. Her face was thin and her stomach shrunk tremendously. She couldn’t see the scar that once showed with her small belly. It looked like a scratch. She exited the bathroom)

    “Your soup’s in the kitchen”, Karen said.

    “Thanks…”, Tina replied. The blond went into the kitchen and retrieved her hot bowl of chicken noodle. She went in to the living room and sat down in the chair. “Any luck?”. She was hoping she said yes. She thought it was time to go home. She missed Bette and she missed her daughter.

    “Give me a second. My friend Johnny from the Bronx is faxing me over the sheet with her information on it. If she was to ask you how you found her just make up something. I’m not supposed to tell you her private information. I could lose my job for this”, Karen said.

    “Sure no problem. You can trust me”, Tina replied.

    “Okay…”, Karen replied. Just then the fax machine started making noise. A white paper began appearing from the small machine. A half a sheet and now a whole sheet. Karen tore it along the dotted lines and raised it in the air.

    “So what does it say?”, Tina asked. She placed the hot soup on the table.

    Karen rolled her chair over to Tina. “It says….”

    Boston…

    (Karen and Tina are in the livingroom)

    Karen rolled her chair over to Tina. “It says she owns a gallery called “The Portards” in Manhattan, but it doesn’t show where she lives”, Karen gazed over at Tina. She didn’t look sad but she didn’t look happy either. She was pleased. At least she had something.

    “Alright. I’ll go to New York tomorrow and look for her”, Tina smiled and retrieved the bowl of soup.

    “You can’t go tomorrow”, Karen replied.

    “And why not?”, Tina asked. She placed the soup back down on the table.

    “Because…” She smiled. “My vacation doesn’t begin until Wednesday. I’m taking a week off. It’s time for a mini vacay. I need to get out of Boston. I’ve been thinking about taking a trip to New York for a while. I’m going. Besides, I’m tired of seeing the same scenary”, Karen replied.

    11. Ohhhhhhhhh I can hardly wait for the reunion. It would be great to let Angelica spot Tina at the gallery and yell mommy and run into her arms. Tina would just break down in tears. Some B&T happiness please :o)

    14. Portard’s gallery!!!! is nice!, i am glad cause Tina finally summon up the courage to go and find Bette and Angelica, i can’t wait until tomorrow!
