    Author Notes:

    Chapter 3: “Michelle takes the girl on a stroll around the city,and Kit freaks out when Bette doesn’t call, while Tina and Karen plan a trip to the big apple”.

    “It’s Michelle sweetie”, Bette replied. “Are you hungry?”.

    “No. I’m going back to bed”, Angelica said.

    “You can’t. You’re coming with me to my job. You do remember don’t you?”, Bette asked.

    “Oh yeah. I forgot. Well, I’m going to my room to pick something out to wear”, Angelica replied. She marched upstairs.

    “Do you need any help?”, Bette asked.

    “No ma’am. I got it”, Angelica replied. She then closed her bedroom door.

    “I should get going. Since Angelica’s not going to daycare I’m going to head to work a little early”, Michelle said.

    “Okay. Hey, thanks for breakfast”, Bette replied.

    “You’re welcome. Have a nice day at work”, Michelle said. She opened the front door and stepped out. She closed it afterwards. Bette smiled and gazed in to the brown bags.

    “Muffins. How nice”, Bette said. She tossed them on the counter. She wasn’t as hungry as she thought. She went upstairs and showered.

    Port Authority Bus Terminal…

    (Tina and Karen get off the bus. They walk out to the main street to catch a cab. First destination Karen’s hotel. The second Bette’s job. The Portards Gallery).

    “Thank god we made it”, Tina said.

    “I know. Ooh there’s goes a cab. Flag it down”, Karen said. Tina flagged it down and the cab came to a stop. The girls placed their things in the trunk. The two hopped in the cab and it took off”.

    “Where to Ms?”, the cab driver asked.

    “The Benjamin Hotel please. It’s located on 125th East 50th street in Brooklyn”, Karen replied.

    “Alright”, the cab driver said. He pulled off…

    Twenty-five minutes later…

    (Tina and Karen arrive at the hotel. They enter her room and Tina drops her things off at the door. She ran over to the window and peered out. She enjoyed the view of the city. She thought it was beautiful. She instantly thought of Bette and Angelica)

    “So, what do you think?”, Karen asked.

    “It’s beautiful. What time did Johnny say the gallery opened?”, Tina asked.

    “At ten. We have a couple of hours until then. I’m going to catch some sleep”, Karen said. She jumped in to bed and relaxed against the clean linen.

    “Not me. I’m going to stay right here and gaze out this window until it’s time to go”, Tina replied. She pulled up a chair and sat down.

    “Have fun. Hey, do me a favor and wake me up in an hour?”, Karen asked.

    “Yeah sure. No problem”, Tina replied. Karen smiled and closed her eyes. Minutes later she was fast to sleep. Tina continued to stare out the window. She thought of her wife and child. She wondered what they were doing right now, this very moment? And,were they thinking of her, like she was thinking of them? “Hmm”, Tina sighed and continued to gaze out the window…

    11. Ohhhhhhhhh I can hardly wait for the reunion. It would be great to let Angelica spot Tina at the gallery and yell mommy and run into her arms. Tina would just break down in tears. Some B&T happiness please :o)

    14. Portard’s gallery!!!! is nice!, i am glad cause Tina finally summon up the courage to go and find Bette and Angelica, i can’t wait until tomorrow!
