    The pregnancy test….

    When Tina pulled up in front of the house Bette’s car was already parked in the driveway.
    “Bette?” Tina shouted out from the front door.
    Bette came racing in from the patio, ”Hi… Hi… Hi… I didn’t hear your car…”
    “Hi baby… what’s up?” Tina giggled at Bette’s wound up look.
    “What’s up? Are you kidding me? It’s today!” Bette said a little too loud.
    “I know…. I know it is. Come here, baby…” Tina smiled and went to Bette.
    Bette stepped into Tina’s arms. “Bette, relax… you’re so tense.”
    “I’m just excited… that’s all…” Bette mumbled close to Tina’s ear.
    “Me too….” Tina whispered and tightened her grip a little around Bette’s back.

    They stood in the middle of the living room floor for a few minutes, just swaying slowly together, not needing words to know how the other felt.
    “I’m gonna go change out of this suit… wanna come?” Tina asked, knowing how Bette wasn’t going to let her out of her sight.
    “Yeah… let’s get you naked…” Bette chuckled.
    “Bette! I don’t need to be naked to do a pregnancy test…” Tina laughed.
    “Oh shoot!”
    “But I will get naked for you… if you behave…” Tina smiled and pulled Bette by the hand into the bedroom.

    Bette sat on the bed, watching Tina while she undressed. Tina was standing in front of the closet in just her thong and bra. The sight could never leave Bette cold. It always had and always would give her goose bumps to look at Tina. As if she was in a trance Bette saw before her what Tina would look like pregnant. Her gaze followed the outline of Tina’s body. She imagined the slightly widened hips. She imagined her flat stomach grow and how her breasts would become more full, heavy with the nourishment for their child. Bette knew Tina would be absolutely stunning pregnant. She knew she would adore watching her body change as it accommodated the needs of their child.

    Tina turned and looked at Bette. Tina knew Bette was watching her, but the look on her face made Tina stop what she was doing. Bette’s mouth was hanging open slightly and her eyes had the softest, most loving expression Tina had ever seen. She was completely lost in her own world.

    “Baby?” Tina whispered, not sure if she wanted to break Bette’s spell.
    “Mmmm…”
    Tina tilted her head to the side and studied Bette. “What are you doing?” she whispered.
    “Mmmm?” Bette mumbled, still not blinking.

I like the fact that their problems and the way their relationship progress is portrayed in the form of conversations between the character rather than offered as opinions or background info by the writer. anyways I just love this story so PPS. thanks

    11. Yes they are pregnant. This time it will be better. I am surprised that Bette could function at all with all the turmoil that she has had in her life. Her mother leaving her and scarring her for life. Tina is a very strong woman to be able to go on with all that has happened to her also. No parents around, almost losing the love of her life and losing her first child. That is enough to send anybody on the road to insanity.

    14. Hello Anker, Good to have you back. I am doing a little happy dance to celebrate your return. Thank you so much for your kind words. Given the effort that you put into these wonderful chapters it only seems fair to comment and share my thought with you. I wonder how often a writer reads the comments and see something completely unexpected. Each reader will interpret your magical words differently. That is one of the benefits of this medium. SO on to Bette and Tina. Well, firstly, Bette and Kit. It was great to see Bette with ants in her pants about returning home to see Tina and carry out the pregnancy test. And how sweet was she at sharing her desires for a child with Kit. This shows that their struggle to maintain a sisterly relationship has been so worthwhile. Yes, it has taken time and a lot of effort on both side but now the rewards can be taken. Then getting an idea of Tina’s day before heading home. At least her presentation would remove her from the am I, aren’t I scenario. Once at home it was tantalizing to see Bette as attentive and nervous about the test. Okay, this was way different from the previous test but so important in strengthening Bette and Tina’s relationship. Sharing this life-altering moment was joyous. Bette’s lust and lascivious behavior was hysterical. I could just imagine her being a mouse and seeing Tina as a big lump of cheese. Anywho, it was awesome to experience the unadulterated bliss that flowed their discovery. Tina is pregnant. I can now see Bee running around the streets and shout this from every corner. It is early days and they aren’t out of the woods yet but I hope and have my fingers crossed that a beautiful child will be the result of their partnership. Please, please, puh-lease make it so. That’s how I would describe Bette’s reaction to “little stick thingy” **that line made me LOL, because that’s exactly how I would probably refer to it** I agree, these two are going to make it. Hopefully with a beautiful baby in their lives but if not, they have a love that will see them through. Well, except the diaper thing… Anyway, I guess I hoped to say (tactufully, of course) that many stories become formulamatic after the pregnancy is introduced. However!!! I have such strong faith in your ability to take our girls down such unexplored and unique pathwyas, I’m sure that the ordinary would be the exception and not the rule!     26. Well, Well, Well what can I say but what a great surprise to come back from my vacation to not only one chapter but two from one of my fav authors. And yes to answer your question..I did go back and read this story from the beginning. You see I was going through what I like to call “anker withdrawal”, so that was the only way I could get my “fix”. LOL Now about these last two chapters. I don’t think I have the words to tell you how fantastic they both are…but you know me so I’ll try. In chapter 46 I love the fact that Tina is not going to just sit around and let Bette go back to her old ways at work. Also love that Bette is willing to listen and they are really talking to each other about how they are feeling. Now this chapter made me smile, laugh, tear up and even say ah. Anker I didn’t think it was possible but your writing keeps getting better and better. You are a wonderful and talented woman and I am so glad to be able to be counted as one of your friends. Oh and yes once again I am patiently waiting for your next email. LOL
