Chapter 8 – Last Night at Beach – Time to Dance

Tina: That’s true.
Bette: Remember, you are painting to please you. If it pleases others, well then you have something marketable. If not, you have done the thing which is an expression of who you are and it has made you happy. And then we have a lot of Christmas gifts for our friends and family.
Tina laughed: Oh, won’t they be thrilled.
Bette: Well, it’s going to be an original Tina Kennard painting. Why shouldn’t they be?
Tina: Okay, we will discuss that later. Come on, let’s go shower.
Tina kissed Bette and then quickly rolled out of bed. Bette headed for the shower while Tina made the bed and picked up the pajamas and robes left on strewn about the bedroom. She decided to hang them on the hooks behind the bathroom door since they had only been worn a couple of hours.
Bette: I think I’m going to try to get the gang to do some casual swimming instead of a basketball game. We need to end the week’s tournaments in a tie and let it go at that. What do you think?
Tina: That’s fine with me. We had fun with the competition but we didn’t get vicious with it. And since the spouses were on opposite teams, no one dare do all that trash talk with normally comes in competitions. That was actually a genius idea to do that Bette. What made you think of it.
Bette: Well, I knew you and I would not be on the same team, so I did not think it fair that anyone else should have their spouse on the same team either. So, I design a choosing system whereby no one would be on the same team as their spouse. And it worked out well. Both teams were evenly matched and skilled.
Tina: A Jedi Master at work. Amazing.
Bette: Get into the shower woman. I want a kiss.
Bette and Tina showered, washed their hair and proceeded with their morning grooming and dressed. Both wore summer khaki shorts with a short sleeve shirt. Bette wore an aqua blue shirt and Tina wore a pink shirt. They put on some sandals and proceeded down stairs. Bette carried her laptop so she could do some research. The time was about 7:45. Shane and Bobbie were starting the preparation for breakfast. Shane was going to cook the sausage first and then proceed with the pancakes. Dylan was already washing the blue berries and placing them in small serving cups so that they were easily placed on the plate. Bobbie was getting the ingredients for the pancakes assembled while Shane was heating up the grill.

Wheezy still looking for her man. LOl.. What a fun time to have your friends and family all together in a beach house.
I worked hard to get Wheezy into this story and I knew that if someone would not change a bit it would be Wheezy.
And Bette is still confused about Miss Wheezy.
Thanks for reading….
