    Tina reached over Bettes naked body for her clothes.

    Tina; *****. This is so bad.

    Bette was still smiling ear to ear.

    Bette: Remind me again WHY this is bad.

    Tina pulled on her shorts.

    Tina: Because even though nothing will ever happen between Alice and I it doesnt stop her from having feelings for me. Now seeing me with you like, well, like this, could crush her.

    Bette: Alice is your friend T. She knows whats going on with us. She has to know that we are umm, for lack of a better term, active.

    Tina pressed her lips quickly on Bettes before standing up.

    Tina: Yes she knows. Its one thing to know, but when you see it, it becomes very real.

    Bette reached for the blanket on the couch and quickly covered herself with it.

    Bette: Then I guess youd better go talk to her.

    Tina: Thank you for understanding. Alice is more than a friend, she is a sister and I couldnt stand the thought of hurting her.

    Bettes stomach was doing flip flops at that last comment. sister. It was killing her to hide what happened between Alice and she just a few days ago, but she wouldnt risk losing Tina over something that truly meant nothing to her. She kept her mouth shut and forced a smile.

    Tina turned and headed to the bedroom. Bette called after her.

    Bette: If I open that window really wide and sit next to it, can I have a cigarette in here?

    Tina smirked.

    Tina: was I that good that you need a cigarette?

    Bette shook her head emphatically yes.

    Tina: You know, we dont need to discuss this now, but seeing as how youre a big broadway star and all, dont you think you should consider quitting smoking?

    Bette thought for a moment.

    Bette: No.

    Tina: Ok, Ill let it gofor now!

    Bette pointed at the bedroom door reminding Tina what she was supposed to be doing.

    Tina: Oh right.

    Tina took a deep breath and opened the door as quietly as she could.

    10. Hello, just found your story today and read all of it. Wow! I must say, I’m not usually a fan of all the “Drama for your mama,” but yours is good. I must say, the first time I was reading I was eating Hot Fries, and with like ten of them in my mouth, my jaw dropped. I’m a little sick right now so I ended up coughing from the hot fries breath going down my lungs. After that, I almost chocked on my pound cake! Coughed that out… Okay, sorry for the long comment, but you’re doing well.
