Brian looked at Bette and gave her a sneer while Bette just gave Brian her best evil look back. The judge held out a coin and showed them both sides.

The referee flipped the coin high in the air and let it land on the ground with a thud. He bent down and peered at it.

The two gave each other menacing smiles and Tina pulled Bette away to get her into her white jumpsuit. Just as Bette was getting suited up and the boys were getting their vat of paint and sponges the referee walked up and gave them one more rule.

Oh yeahone more thing. Each team gets one sharpshooter who will be stationed up on the platform behind the starting line. The sharpshooter will have a paintball gun with fifteen paint pellets to fire. If any member from the opposing team is hit by the sharpshooter they are disqualified and can no longer throw their sponges at the player. Teams, pick your sharpshooters

Bette turned to Tina and smiled at her. In all honesty she probably should have chosen Alice or Dana, someone with perhaps more shooting skill, but she knew that Tina would protect her no matter what. She gave Tina a sweet smile as she held her hand.

They laughed and Brian rolled his eyes at their cutesy display of affection. He turned to Justin and did his best impersonation of Bette.

The referee showed Tina how to shoot the paintball gun while Bette walked down to the field and got positioned on the starting line. She knew there were six barriers to hide behind but because it was so dark around the field she could not see where the guys were going to be throwing from. Alice, Shane and Dana stood in the waiting area where they could see all the action below on a monitor. Bette turned and smiled up at Tina who winked back at her.
