    Author Notes:

    Who just walked in the door…a game of pool, and why are Alice and Shane godsmacked.

    Tina just smiles, there eyes making contact.

    Bette: (Smiles) “and no I don’t come here often, how about you”

    Tina: (Laughs) “First time actually”

    Bette: “Really, so what do you think”.

    Tina:  “Yeah I’m really liking it, so you here with someone”

    Bette:  “Yeah well I was meant to be meeting a friend but they just rang to say that they couldn’t make it, so I was just about to head off home”

    Tina: “Oh” Tina tried to hide her disappointment

    Bette: (noticed the disappointment in Tina’s voice) ” I guess I could stay for a few drinks, that is if you don’t mind hanging out with a teacher” She smiles.

    Tina: “No..no that’s fine. 

    Bette:  “So how about you, you here with anyone”

    Tina: “Yeah Alice and Shane, there sitting at a table right over there” she points towards the girls.

    Bette: “Ah yes the 3 Amigos (both girls laugh) so how long have you know one another”.

    Tina: “Well Alice and I have been best friends, actually more like sisters since we were 8, when her family moved into the house next to ours.  And Shane we met last year”.  Bette couldn’t help but watch the beautiful blondes mouth move when she talked, thinking about how good it would be to kiss those soft lips.  Tina bit her bottom lip which just about drove Bette over the edge.

    Bette: “So you wanna play a game of pool” she flashes Tina a smile.

    Tina: “Ok but I’m warning you now I’m not really good”

    Bette ” That’s ok it just means that its gonna be a lot easier than I thought to beat you”. Both Tina and Bette laugh. ” So how about we go get the other 2 Amigos and have a game of doubles”.

    Tina: ” Yeah ok”

    Bette: (gestures with her hand) “After you”  Both girls make their way over to Shane and Alice.

     

    MEANWHILE BACK AT THE TABLE

     

    Alice was stretching her neck trying to see past the people standing in her vision of Bette and Tina.

    Alice:  “So, what do you think there talking about”

    Shane: “I dunnothe weather” 

    Alice: (turns to Shane with a astonished look on her face) “Your killing me Shane, your really killing me” Shane laughs.

    8. hey the pool scene was hot. I love your story. please continue when you can. I love the slow burn approach. It makes it that much better when they finally get together.
