    Author Notes:

    Who just walked in the door…a game of pool, and why are Alice and Shane godsmacked.

    PREVIOUSLY

    Alice:  “Can you believe that *****”.  Tina was trying to catch her breath while wiping away the tears streaming down her face.  “She didn’t even have to say anything, she just walked up and stood there and that ***** practically threw herself at Shane”.  Tina was now slapping her knee with laughter.

    Alice:  “You know your support would be appreciated right about now”

    Tina: (puts her arm around Alice) “Ahhh I will always love you Al”.

    Shane comes back over with another round of shots for them.  Alice throws hers straight down.

    Alice: (looking at Shane) “I so wish I was you right now”

    Tina: “What about me”

    Alice: “No, see your all confused about the whole Miss Hottie situation, but I will be more than happy to be you when you sort it all out and you and Miss Hottie are getting it on”.  Shane laughs

    Tina:  “I’m gonna go get us some more shots.  She walks off to the bar.

    Shane: “So what do you think of this place, it’s pretty cool hey” Alice was looking over at the door.

    Alice: “Yep, and it looks like this night is going to get a ***** of a lot more interesting” a smile forming on Alice’s face.

    Shane turns towards the door.  “You can say that again”

    Bette walks through the door, she was wearing a tight pair of Sass&Bide jeans that hugged her in all the right places, a black silk top that hug low at the front and a pair of black heals.  Half the guys in the bar mouths hung open when she walked in.  She looks around than walks over to the bar on the other side of the dance floor.  Tina comes back to the table with another 2 rounds of shots for them, she see’s both Shane and Alice smiling and whispering.

    Tina: “Stop talking bout me *****” she take’s a seat.  “So what were you guys whispering about”.

    Alice: (smiling) “Ah we were just talking bout the talents that’s here tonite”.

    Shane:  “Yeah Be..(Alice kicks Shane under the table) ahhhhhhhyeah the talent”

    Alice: “Sooo Tina, what are yo going to do about the whole Miss Hottie situation”.

    Tina: (sighs) ‘I really don’t know hey.  I think I really like her, she’s so beautiful, her eyes , her smile and the way I feel when I’m around her (pauses) I have never experienced that before”.  Tina throws down a shot.  “Wow these things are really good”  Both Alice and Shane laugh.

    8. hey the pool scene was hot. I love your story. please continue when you can. I love the slow burn approach. It makes it that much better when they finally get together.
