Bette:(furious)” No, let me handle this. I can’t believe that crazy ***** came on to you and right under my nose.” Bette starts to leave when Tina stops her, “Bette, don’t do it. You’ve got too much going for you at the CAC. You need to keep your job. I can take care of her.”

Bette: “But…”

Tina: “Listen to me. Do you trust me?”

Bette: “Well….yeah.”

Tina: “Then let me handle this.”

Bette nods and Tina takes off. Bette follows, but only close enough to hear what happens. Bette stands a few feet behind Helena, who doesn’t notice her, as Tina approaches. Tina has this serene calmness about her as she greets Helena, “I don’t know what I was thinking…..” She then pulls Helena in for a deep passionate kiss. Bette almost flips but then remembers Tina asked for her trust so she holds back waiting for the scene to unfold. Helena pulls away breathless, ” I’m so glad you changed your mind.” No more did the words leave her mouth when “WHACK!” Tina slaps her across the face.

Tina: “That’s for kissing my wife….” Helena is too stunned to move and before she can react to what is happening, “WHACK!” Tina slaps her again, “…..and that’s for trying to ***** me. I don’t know what you’re problem is, but you’d better stay away from me, stay away from my wife, and stay away from my family….” At that time Bette steps in, puts her arms around Tina’s waist, and finishes Tina’s sentence.

Bette: “…or we’ll sue you for harrassment.”

Helena gathers her bearings, “You wouldn’t dare, if you know what’s good for you.”

Bette: “OH? Try me, you pretentious *****! I’ve got nothing to lose, but you do….I’m sure mommy dearest would love to hear about darling Helena’s little scandal.”

Helena stands there at a loss as Bette and Tina turn to leave. Helena thinks to herself, “She may have won, but I’ll be damned if I walk away without a fight, this time.” Helena has one more surprise up her sleeve.

Helena: “Oh Bette….did you ever tell Tina how absolutely fabulous Cate was in bed?”

They stop walking, Bette wonders how Helena knows about Cate. Tina’s mouth drops as everything comes together in her mind she looks at Bette, “It’s you….you’re the older woman.”
