    Tina gets a scare…

    The afternoon was moving slowly…

     

    Tina:  I’ll be right back…

     

    Jill:  Sure take your time…

     

    A few minutes later, Jill’s phone was ringing…

     

    Jill:  Hello, Jill Sims speaking…

     

    Tina:  (Crying)… Jill please I need you…

     

    Jill:  Tina… what the hell???  Where are you???

     

    Tina:  Bathroom…

     

    Jill running down the hall and into the ladies room…

     

    Jill:  Tee I’m here…

     

    Tina opens the door and Jill goes in… she is sitting there crying… and not making too much sense…

     

    Jill:  Tina… calm down and tell me what’s the matter…

     

    Tina:  I’m bleeding… as she shows her the spot on her underwear…

     

    Jill:  Ok Tina… relax… it’s just a spot… it happens… now I want you to wipe yourself and look at it…

     

    Tina:  NO… I can’t… I don’t want to lose her…

     

    Jill:  Tee you have to… the doctor is only going to ask… so come on… as she hands her the paper… you wipe and I’ll look…

     

    Tina does and Jill looks on…

     

    Jill:  Its ok Tee… there is no blood… come on lets get up and get you back to the office and put your feet up and call the doctor…

     

     

    Jill helped Tina back to the office, gave her a glass of water… kneeling down before her…

     

    Jill:  Ok Tina just breathe…

     

    Tina:  I’m trying…

     

    Jill:  Are you in any pain…

     

    Tina: No… no pain

     

    Jill:  Ok that’s good… listen it happens, a lot of women spot while they are pregnant, it doesn’t always mean there’s something wrong… but just to be safe I think you should call the doctor…

     

    Tina agrees and she pulls her cell out and calls the doctors office and after talking to the nurse…

     

    Jill:  Ok what did she say…

     

    Tina:  The same as you… it is very common but to be on the safe side she wants me to come to the office for a sonogram… I told I was coming in at 6:30 anyway and she said just get here and they will fit me in before 6…

     

    Jill:  Ok now call Bette… tell her I’ll take you to the doctors’ office to save time…

    2. Wheww,I’m glad everything turned out OK for Bette and Tina. I didn’t know what to think when Tina said she was bleeding and I’m glad Bette dropped everything and got to the hospital to be with Tina. PPS

    4. Hey lady, count on keep that cough for a while. I resorted to egual amount whiskey ,lemon juice , and honey, Helped the cough, if you take enough,Yes my dear you get to the point,you don’t know you are coughing. Really does help. Loved how Bette droped everything to go to Tina, and that Jill is just a good friend. Get to feeling better. Sorry about the Mets we have next yr. thanks

    5. MG, I would say that was spot on, but I’m not British. Sorry about the cough, I know how nagging and persistant they can be, especially if you have to do a lot of talking. I like bettyv’s remedy. I may try it even though I don’t have a cough at the moment.

    6. I had a godawful nagging cough and cold for a month after I came back from a trip to Florida 3 years ago. I basically had to just wait it out for it all to end, but the doctor said it looked a lot like mono. Come to think of it, I had a crappy cold starting from the end of my trip to London last year as well. Bleh. Anyway, I’m glad the baby is alright. I knew you wouldn’t let our girls suffer. *hugs*
