Tina: You would tell me if I was… RIGHT…
Bette: Yes I would tell you but, trust me your not… come lay down and close your eyes… then we will go out and tell your father…
Tina laid down with Bette arms wrapped around her… as she closed her eyes…

Linda cleaned up the kitchen… Frank knew his wife was pissed at him…
Frank: Linda… what does Tina want to tell me…
Linda: Gee Frank, maybe she wanted to tell US both something… did that ever occur to you…

An hour later Linda was knocking gently on their door…
Bette: Come on in..
Linda: Is she still sleeping…
Tina: No mom… I’m awake…
Linda: Tina you know your father loves you and he would never say anything deliberately to hurt you…
Tina: I know mom… but its been one of those weeks…
Bette: Tee, lets go and try again… I bet he won’t say a word until you tell him…
Walking into the Living Room… Frank see them… shuts off the TV and motions for Tina to come and sit on his lap… Bette pushes her a little to go…
Frank: Tina I’m so sorry… I was just joking… I know you work very hard and now I am dying to hear what you want to tell me…
Tina looks into his eyes… and the tears start to fall from hers… he holds her tight…
Frank: Baby what’s the matter… tell me… why you are crying…
Linda moved to Bette as her arm circled around her waist… Lisa and James just watched… Lisa also had tears in her eyes…
Tina: Oh Daddy… these are tears of joy… (She reached for Bette’s hand)… we wanted to tell you GRANDPA… that we are having a baby…
This huge smile came across his face as he pulled them both into his strong arms…
Frank: OMG… this is the best news you could give me… looking back and forth… and then to his wife… did you know about this…
Linda: I can’t lie dear… but yes they told me 2 weeks ago…
Frank: I have to ask… who’s pregnant…
Now it was Bette’s turn to cry… Tina looked at her and took her into her arms…
Bette: Tee you have no idea how happy he just made me… he is this happy and it doesn’t matter if it’s you or me that’s pregnant…
Tina: Daddy we both love you… and so you know… I’m the one who is pregnant this time…
James: This is so cool… I am happy for you both…
Lisa: And don’t worry… our lips are sealed until you tell everyone…
Tina: Thanks…
Frank: You mean I can’t tell everyone I meet I’m going to be a grandpa…
Tina: Please daddy not yet…
Bette: We want it to be just us now…
Tina: But soon… the way I have been eating, I’ll have no choice…
They all talked the rest of the afternoon away… and then went out to dinner…
It was a night of celebration…

Hey MG, I’m with packer for letting your fans vote if they want you to continue with the story. You’re one of the first writers in my list of favorite authors! Ok ok so you’re not the only one there,but after a year long of continuos reading (all from the very first story they ever posted) i’ve got 68 other writers on that list EKKK! So….you’ve got my vote to continue, please please continue with your awsome story MG! I can always click on your story everytime I’m coming in to check for new chapters:))…..LOL

Don’t you ever stop what YOU love doing girl. Who gives a shit about numbers?? This isn’t the Nielsen Ratings! You still have all those hundreds of people that DO read, and DO keep coming back. Don’t get so hung up on that sweetie. Numbers mean nothing. I have always said, that if I can reach ONE person…JUST ONE person to bring them a smile, a chuckle, promote them to think, to make them feel that someone identifies with their struggles, then I am blessed. Let me tell you something, long after Fan Fic has been put to rest, will it matter how many numbers you had? OR, will it matter if you touched someones life because of that “writte” word, that power of the pen? Don’t ever let yourself get caught up in the trivial parts of writing babe. When I first ran across an current post about 6 or 8 months ago, I went back and read all chapters beginning with the first year of the rest of their life. Hey Mary Grace. It’s a shitty place to be with a job & those of us who have been in the same or similar situations can sympathize. As for your story, only you can decide to continue or not. But I have to tell you, there are hundreds of us who will always eagerly await the next chapter……
I love this story. I know I pretty much missed the very beginning but I would love for you to continue it. Maybe change the name and start from chapter 1. I could deal with that. Besides can’t let the hot tub go not being used. And then there is the baby, so I am begging you please do not stop writing this story.
Hey, MG, thanks for the message and good luck with the job, been there and know how stressful that can be. I guess I didn’t get the tone, but I was surprised that everybody jumped down Alice’s throat. Maybe cause I’m single I interpreted it as meaning it’s harder to buy things like new cars when it’s just one income and not two. And if folks don’t know foot in mouth is part of the Alice experience by now, I guess they never will. And MG, what’s to become of those of us who DO read?
