Linda: I made plenty… I’ll get her… and I have a feeling Shane is also coming back…
Dana: Sorry I fell asleep…
Bette: Its fine Dana… have a seat and join us for dinner…
Dana: I would love to… its smells great in here…
Tina: So mom how was your day…
Linda: It was fine… all quiet on the home front… and Candace passed by on her way home… she wants to see you Tina in the morning in the loft…
Tina: Yeah right… like that’s going to happen…
Bette: Don’t worry Tee… I’ll be right next to you…
Tina: That goes with out say babe… did she say what she wanted…
Dana: Besides you alone for a few hours… I don’t think she said anything else…
Linda: That’s about it…
Lisa: Tell me she really didn’t say that… God I hope she is not another Wendy…
Tina: Bite your tongue… once was enough of that shit…
Linda: No she didn’t… but I bet she was thinking it… but give her the benefit of the doubt… she probably has questions…
Bette: I can understand that… but she is way out of line…
Tina: Just a few days more… and she will be out of here…
Linda: I will say that she is doing one hell of a job up there… but she needs to act professionally… or else she will not be working any where…
Knock on the door and Shane walks in…
Shane: Its only me…
Linda: Come on in Shanie… dinner is ready
Shane: Thanks Mom…
Bette and Tina just look at each other and smile… and both mouth the word MOM…
Shane: Do you have enough…
Linda: We have plenty… besides you need to get some meat on your body…
Shane: Well you can try… I did manage to see my friend who’s family owns a furniture place… and I think your going to like what I can get…
Linda: Really… well lets hear it…
Shane: Ok they have a Queen size bedroom set.. it only has 1 night table and dresser with a mirror… its the big dresser… with 9 drawers… and a couch with 2 recliners on each end, a end table and a coffee table… and she is even throwing in a lamp…
Linda: Sounds perfect…
Shane: Oh and I saw this kitchen set.. table and 4 chairs… so I also got her to include that…
Bette and Tina were smiling… they both were thinking the same thing…
Lisa: How much…
Shane: $1,000.00 for everything…
Linda: Not bad… actually that’s very good..
Shane: I could take you there tonight and you can see every thing…
Lisa: Could me mom…
Linda: I’m sure we could…
Tina: Mom let us help…
Linda: Nope you two have done enough… we can take are of this…

Geez, MG, I dont’ think I could play Truth with my mother. But then you seem to have a thing about uncomfortable sex situations involving family. Kind of makes me wish I was a fly on the wall at your son’s reception and/or rehearsal dinner. Congratulations. How long do you think it will take them to make you a grandmother? And of course Alice was right, Bette can be as Alpha as she wants to be but she ain’t making sperm. So what? It’s all good in the end and a child is a child. Or grandchild.

Hi MG It GREAT to have you back and I a glad that the wedding went off without a hitch (I assume they did get hitched LOL). Congrads on the new family member. I LOVED this chapter. That was nice to have Shane call Linda MOM and her calling her Shanie (now she is the ONLY one that can call Shane that). Candance is begging to have he butt kicked and they are all forming a line behind Bette. PPS :o).
