Jill: so you’re still on for tomorrow night…
Tina: yes… this way we don’t have to get up early Sunday morning… and if I wait till Wednesday night… its too close…
Jill: true… and when is your mom and dad coming in…
Tina: that’s another thing… they may show up Thursday… or Wednesday… who knows…
Jill: well this way I get a play by play-on Monday morning…
Tina: smiling… you’re probably the only one I would tell…
Jill gets up and they hug each other…
Jill: lets get out of here…
Walking arm and arm out the door… and again they hug and kiss each other goodbye…

Tina arrived home… she had plenty of time… Bette already called her and told her she would be home by 4:30 and she would pick up dinner…
Tina had her music all set… she loved the different melodies she had Mixed her self… the best parts from some of her favorite oldies… hopefully it all works together… as she started her final dress rehearsal… from the place she would have Bette sit to bringing her into the bedroom… and the music starting…
About an hour later… and a very tired Tina… but she was also very proud of her self… the music was sexy… but very powerful… it said everything she would have said if she had to speak…
Tina then put the pole away… and her costume away… saying a silent prayer… please dear god… let me pull this off… looking at the clock she had plenty of time… she wanted to take a quick shower… also thanking
god that she was over her period… and Bette would be by morning… if not sooner…
Bette finally arrived home… they both were very exhausted from working so
much all week… they ate… barely… almost falling asleep at the table…
Tina: babe… I think we need to sleep…
Bette: I know what you mean… and your right… I think I almost fell asleep in my plate…
Tina: we both almost did… so lets put this away… and get to bed…
Bette: I’ll make sure everything is all locked up and the lights are off…
Tina: ok I got this…
They both did just that… stripping and crawling in and meeting in the
middle… and falling asleep moments later…

I give up… i had this all mapped out… bold high lights… underlined… and for all of my hard work… it still fucks up… i tried to fix it once… sorry ladies… but this is as good as it gets…

Have fun in Vegas, MG (is that why the Elvis song got in here?) Love the old songs,(I was listening to the Dells do ‘Oh, What a Night’ while reading this) I think Little Willie John did the best version of ‘Fever’ even if most have never heard it. Peggy Lee’s was great, too. Careful with those heels now, Tina.
