Bette laughed.
Bette: “Ok fine. Call me later.”
Harmony: “yes ma’am. Now go!”
Bette left the office. Harmony ran back to her desk. She fixed the pens they had knocked over and fixed her lip stick. Just as she sat down Jackie came in.
Jackie: “Scott!”
Harmony was terrified.
Harmony: “yeah Jackie?”
Jackie: “we gotta talk about the Flannigan account.”
Harmony exhaled heavily and sat back.
Planet that afternoon
Bette came in and ordered cold water then sat down.
Jenny: “hey Bette”
Bette: “Hi Jenny”
Jenny: “You look happy. What’s up?”
Bette: “Oh nothing.”
Bette couldn’t stop smiling.
Jenny: “Does this have anything to do with that lady I saw you in the paper with?”
Bette: “You saw that?”
Jenny nodded yes.
Bette: “Has Tina?”
Jenny nodded yes again. Bette didn’t know what to think about this. She wasn’t afraid of Tina knowing, it just made her uneasy for some reason. Though Tina had moved on they never officially spoke about seeing other people. Bette was too happy to care very much though.
Bette: “What did she say?”
Jenny: “Nothing really. She just read it and put it away.”
That told Bette either she really didn’t like it or she didn’t really care.
Jenny: “You looked beautiful.”
Bette smiled.
Bette: “Thank you.”
Jenny: “so tell me about this lady that seems to have you so happy.”
Just as Bette was about to tell her about Harmony her cell phone rang.
Bette: “Excuse me.”
She picked up.
Bette: “Hey”
Harmony: “Hey hey hey.”
Bette: “Did you get fired?”
Harmony laughed.
Harmony: “No. Actually I was rewarded.”
Bette: “Really?”
Harmony: “Yes. Not only did I receive a bonus for doing 3 events in a row but I have a small vacation.
Bette: “Wow. When?”
Harmony: “This weekend. I have tomorrow and Monday off.”
Bette: “Nice”
Harmony: “so I was wondering if maybe you’d go away with me.”
Bette: “What’d you have in mind?”
Harmony: “I was thinking we’d drive down the coast. Stay in a little bed and breakfast.”

First off great chapter. 2nd like I believe alot of us is thinking roxy is in love with Harmony. I hope bette does not get hurt, she really deserves to happy. I hope tina really starts to fihure out she is losing Bette. Great chapter once again.
Great chapter and great to see Bette finally getting some happiness in her life. Although she is going out with this woman, she still loves and misses Tina. Tina should have her behind kicked for not telling Bette that she still loves her. This affair may prove to be Tina’s undoing. Let’s see if Bette can be intimate with Harmony. My money says she will not be able to do so even though she wants to. Thanks for the post.

Glad to see Bette stand up to Tina. with Bette teaching they will need a baby sitter anyway. This will put Tina in a bind. She has got to think more of Anglica now GO Bette Go and be happy. Dont think Tina knew that Bette was still wanted by someone else …..thanks
