Bette was standing in front of the mirror looking at herself. She thought she looked good. She had picked a black power suit with a white shirt and high black heels. Her hair was down and she had applied a little make-up. Helena would pick her up in about 20 minutes but apparently Helena was early and Bette’s doorbell rang. She hurried to the door and she was surprised to see Temperance standing there.

“Uh, Temperance? What are you doing here?” Bette asked. When she looked a little better at Temperance, she could tell she had been crying.

“Can I talk to you?” She asked Bette.

“Uhm, sure but Helena is picking me up in about 20 minutes so I don’t have a lot of time.”

“It’s okay. It won’t take long.”

Bette stepped to the side and let Temperance in.

New Chapter…

Bette was shocked. What Temperance just told her had knocked her of her feet. She didn’t expect this to happen. Not twice… She also didn’t think anyone else saw the coming.

“Wait… She has fallen in love with a man? Again?” Bette asked.

“Yeah but you will never believe what she said after that… She said she was disgusted seeing all those lesbians around. Can you believe it?”

Bette was totally caught off guard by this. Tina found her and her friends disgusting? Huh?

“Are you serious?” She asked, still not believing it.

“Yes… She told me that. I got so angry I ran out.”

Just then the bell rang. Bette stood up and opened the door. Helena was dressed in a short white dress with a red leather vest and high heels. She smiled at Bette who couldn’t help but smile back.

“Hey, Darling. You look amazing.” Helena said and then kissed her.

“You look also breathtaking, sweetheart.”

“Ready to go?”

“Uhm, Temperance is here.” Temperance walked up behind Bette.

“Yeah, but I’ll go. I told you everything I had to say. Bye guys. Have fun.” With that, Temperance walked to her car and drove away.

Helena looked puzzled at Bette.

“Why was she here?” She asked Bette.

“Well, Tina has fallen in love with a man and is now ‘disgusted’ by all those lesbians…”
