    Trouble in paradise? (part 3/3)

    3:30 pm

     

    Of all the possible things Bette could have done in this situation she thought it best to go home right then.  The other car was way too far away at this point to follow and she wasn’t sure what’d she’d do once it reached its destinations.  So she thought it best to go home.  It was a little early so she didn’t have to pick up Angelica yet which she was grateful for.  She actually thought it best for Angelica to stay with Tina for a while because all hell was going to break loose the second Harmony walked through the door.  She knew that Roxanne and Harmony had salvaged some type of relationship after the whole mess Roxanne had created when they first got together, but they had altered their relationship dramatically.  Harmony wanted to get things right with Bette and she was just as pissed at Roxanne about what she did as Bette had been.  They maintained a work relationship but 95% of outside contact had stopped.  Harmony did miss Roxanne but she loved Bette and felt she was worth it. 

     

    Bette:  Work.  That’s what it is.  They’re scouting a location.  That’s what it is.  Maybe I should call her.

     

    She took out her Treo, hit 2, and send.  Speed dial.  It rang.  Voicemail.

     

    Bette:  Should I leave a message?

     

    She hung up.

     

    Bette:  Why isn’t she picking up her phone?!  She’ll see the missed call.  Its ok.  I’m just jumping to conclusion.  Its work.  Its fine…FUCK!

     

    She paced around the living room trying to clear her head.  It wasn’t working.  She was just burning a whole in the hard wood flooring.  As she looked at her watch she noticed it was nearing time to pick up Angelica.  She huffed and headed out the door.  Her baby girl would help calm her nerves.

     

    4:30 pm

     

    She pulled up to Alice’s to get Angelica.  She had spent the day with Alice so she could take her shopping.  A lil earth mommy outing.  Bette approached the door and knocked.

     

    Alice:  “Hey what’s up?”

     

    Bette walked in right past her.

     

    Alice:  “Nice to see you too.”

     

    Bette:  “Sorry Al.  I just have something on my mind right now.  Is Angelica ready?”

    11. oh~u r so bad. I almost believed that Harm had cheated on Bette. I am so glad she didn’t otherwise I’ll kick her ass. hahaha~~ After Tina had treated her like shit I can’t stand anyone do a bit of shitty thing to Bette. I think she gone through enough and she deserves be happy.

    13. I agree with allyemmerson, “getting married.” please continue…this story has been refreshing. It’s great to see Bette happy in a relationship w/ Harmony after what IC did to her in S3.

    18. Okay that was so sweet so i forgive your for leaving me hanging w/ the last chapter. I was really worried at first and was ready to kill Harmony myself but not I think she is just super romantic. Great post! And i won’t accept this being the end so i expect more chapters real soon….
