Angelica & The Artist – Chapter 5
They spent the afternoon wandering the garden. As they made their way back to the train, Lyndsay stopped and looked back at the Roseto. This was a place she wanted to ingrain in her memory so that one day she could return again. Looking over at Angelica, she stated “thank you for bringing me here”.
Smiling Angie responded “your welcome, I am glad you enjoyed it”.
“Of all the beautiful and amazing places this city has to offer, that is one that will remain in my memory for some time to come.”
As they sat side by side on the train, each could feel the electricity rising between them. Lyndsay again felt the tingling sensation deep inside that she had felt when Angie had kissed her the previous day. Their arms were situated very near to each other, and Lyndsay was sure she could feel the hairs standing up on her arm. Making a split second decision, she reached over and took Angelica’s hand into her own and gave it a soft squeeze. No words were exchanged. None were needed. Both women looked at each other, gave a slight smile, then each slowly looked away.
Arriving back at the station near Lyndsay’s hotel, they exited and started the short walk back. Not wanting their evening to end, Lyndsay asked if Angie would join her for dinner. An affirmative response led them to a small restaurant where they shared a nice dinner and talked about child hood memories. The conversation flowed easily and they laughed at many of the antics that Angie had pulled growing up.
Lyndsay had enjoyed getting to know a little more about Angelica and her years spent in California growing up. The tales of the trouble she would get into as a child, only to have the help of her aunt Alice and aunt Shane to keep her Mom’s from finding out about the mess she had gotten herself into, made her realize that Angie came from a very close knit family.
As they left the restaurant that night, it was Lyndsay who had reached for Angelica’s arm to pull her closer. She leaned over and gently kissed her on the cheek, thanking her for a wonderful day.
They spent the next few days wandering the city together. They shopped, they laughed, they shared more memories of their pasts, including memories of a few people each had dated over the years.

I love this story…don’t keep us waiting for too long.
Love this story and this chapter, WOW!!Angelica is every bit Mama B’s daughter when it comes to romancing a woman. Her gentleness comes from both mom’s. She really knows how to work it. Can hardly wait for the next chapter. PPS
Oh more please. Looking forward to another chapter.
She is her mothers daughter, Gentle and sweet like Tina a forward and romanced like Bette thanks
Somehow, we smell DRAMA coming along. It was beautiful how you described both having uncertain thoughts about the impact they have for each other. However, when we start enjoying a story, you leave a cliffie or decide to end the story. Mmm Guess you are the writer and therefore, we better enjoy this, while it lasts. PPS Lucero & Marsha (From Mexico City)
Holy Cow!!!! YES YES YES! Go Angie, put those lips on the woman you want girl. I’m with Dainty, SOOOOOO Bette’s daughter LMAO! You truly brought the gentle yet fiery feelings that can develop between two people trying to hold back and pause the intense feelings that have developed. Gosh, I just hope Lyndsay let’s Angie buy the painting! LOL! You are an AWESOME writer my friend. Bring on the wine! {{ hugs }}
I got a little behind in my reading, but this is sensational. Bette has taught Angelica well…she just a chip off the old block. Can’t wait until your next post and it may even be today since I am so late!
Hey Taz, Great chapter!! I love that Angie is asking her to come with her to her room. I know that to leave this woman behind would be hard for her. I can’t wait for the next chapter!!
