All the Fallen ~ Chapter 23 ~ Storms
Jo.
Trouble.
The two words were synonymous with each other when it came to Jo and their lives. Powers were at play in this building, it must have been wrecking havoc on Jo’s mental blocks, or….
It had something to do with that girl. The androgynous looking vamp. That was whom Jo was centered on right now, there was no one else in the room but her. God she was beautiful in a very handsome way, the way she stood, held her body and eyes that seemed to glow. She was still in love with Jo, denying it was of no use. Yet, the threat, or feeling wasn’t coming from the woman with Jo, was it?
Yes.
No?
Then what? Who?
Amy stood, usually she’d have known when there was danger present to herself, a psychic vibration that would have alerted her, but not tonight. Tonight, forces she’d never met were playing havoc with life.
She began to walk towards the exit when something crackled behind her; she was concentrating on what was going on with Jo, Nat, and not herself. Something or someone was behind her, and before she could turn to face the attacker.
Slap! Something thudded her in the back of the head. She grabbed at her neck, stumbling forward as she crashed down on her knees. A loud grunt, and not from Amy. She tried to raise her hand, to defend herself, but instead a second slam in the back of her skull rendered her oblivious to the world.
Lacey snorted as she pushed open the door of what looked like a closet, but found an office instead. She smiled, grabbing Amy under her arms, and dragged the unconscious blonde into the office.
She dropped her unceremoniously like a limp sack on the floor, looking around and seeing the wire to the phone and tugging it from the wall. She tested it, nodding at its strength.
Lacey quickly stripped the woman, not bothering to exchange clothes. She just tossed off her dark shirt and dark pants, changing them for Amy’s uniform. Lacey was in the waiter uniform in moments; she fixed her messy hair, then popped a large book into her smock, hiding it efficiently with a few tugs and nips. She kicked Amy gently, and the woman didn’t stir. She proceeded to tug her arms painfully behind her back and tied the very attractive blonde’s hands.

The transition between the Bette/Helena scene to the Shane one seems very abrupt. Is there a section missing?
Thanks, killer, a section didn’t paste in the first time we posted. It’s fixed now.
I agree with Bettyvhall…we stand united!
Oh…it makes much more sense now. Thanks for the update.
