Dana: "I love you too Al. Now, get on that call." Alice remembers.

Alice: "Shit you’re right. I’m on it." She picks up the phone and calls Shane.

Shane’s house…

Shane: "Carmen, can you please pass the jelly?"

Carmen: "Sure." Jenny enters the kitchen.

Jenny: "Hello."

Shane: "Hey, you’re awake. How was the afternoon nap?"

Jenny: "Great." She walks over and sits down next to Shane.

Ring! Ring!

Shane: "Hey Al…what? when?" She looks up from her lap.

Carmen: "What happened?" She’s concerned. Jenny grabs an apple from the fruit bowl.

Shane: "Alright. I’m on it." She ends the call.

Carmen: "What?"

Shane: "Dana’s has a match a two. Are you guys in?" She looks at Carmen and then Jenny.

Carmen: "I’m there is you are." She leans in and kisses Shane. Jenny smiles.

Jenny: "I’m in too."

Carmen/Shane: "Great!" They stare at one another.

Carmen: "Cool. I’m gonna take a quick shower and then we can go."

Shane: "Cool. Hey, Jenny, what’s up?" Jenny snaps back into reality.

Jenny: "Nothing. I’ve been thinking a lot about my parents. They’re a pain in my ass."

Shane: "Oh. What’s wrong?"

Jenny: "They’re having problems accepting that I’m gay. I don’t see what the problem is. They aren’t me and they don’t have to live as being me, so, what’s the big deal?"

Shane: "Are your parents old-fashioned?"

Jenny: "Yeah, why?"

Shane: "That’s the problem. Back then, lesbianism wasn’t as broad as what it is today. Back then, men were with women, and women were with men. I’m sure lesbians existed, but, it wasn’t known to the public. Most things like being gay was kept on the D.L."

Jenny: "D.L???What’s that?"

Shane: "Down low."

Jenny: "Ahh.Ohh. Yeah, I get it now. Well, fuck them!" She stands from the table. "I’m better of without them in my life anyway. Later." She walks off. "Calm me when you guys are ready." Shane watches her cautiously.

Shane: "Sure…" She continues to eat her toast and jam.

Bette’s house…

Tina: "Babe!"

Bette: "What?" She enters the bathroom. Tina’s standing in front of the mirror with her blouse raised revealing her pregnant belly.

Tina: "Come here…" She pulls Bette over and takes her right hand and places it on her stomach. "Do you feel that?"
