Actions Speak Louder than Words chpt. 72
Previously
Tina: "yes." she went into the fridge and poured them all a glass of OJ. She made her way over to the table, and watched as everyone raised their glasses.
Bette: "to a new beginning of love, honor, trust, and forgiveness"
The gang: "SALUTE" they all tapped their glasses and sipped some of their drink.
Bette: "I love you sweetie"
Tina: "I love you more" she leans in and kisses her wife. They share a passionate kiss in front of their friends/family. The gang clapped to their happiness, they clapped to their pain, and they clapped for the beginning that would never be the same.
**************************************
That day
After the gang had left there was enough time for Bette and Tina to talk. Tina wanted to know what was wrong with Bette. She wasn’t herself this morning.
Tina: "hey"
Bette: "hey" she closes the book she was reading. "what’s up?"
Tina: "you"
Bette: "me?" she was surprised. What’s the problem? She asked herself in her head
Tina: "yeah you. What’s with you this morning?"
Bette: "I told you I wasn’t feeling well, and then you told me that we were having company. I just wish that you would have told me"
Tina: "I know, but I’d figured I’d surprise you. When the girls are around you are happy and cheerful. I was kind of caught off guard when you were so moody this morning". she slid in next to the brunette. She began massaging her shoulders and catering to her wife. "are you okay?" she asked. She was still concerned.
Bette: "Yeah. I’m just a bit tired Tina. Last night drained me most defintely." She smiles and lookes away. "How’s my little angel?" She strokes Tina’s stomach. Tina smiles and watches how attentative the brunette was to their unborn child.
Tina: "Aww, aren’t you caring." She embraces her wife.
Bette: "Why shouldn’t I be? You’re the mother of our kid Tina."
Tina: "I’m not saying that you’re wrong babe. I’m just happy for us you know. For some reason I feel so different today. I’m actually loving today more than any other day. Last night touched me deeply."
Bette: "Oh…" Bette gazes up at her wife. "Just today."

When you put in DL in the story, I was thinking why is baseball in this story. DL in baseball terms is the disabled list. Yeah, Shane seems to be a little into the hot water side of life. Poor Alice having to deal with mommy dearest and straighten out some issures. Got to love Bette and Tina.
