Alice was just getting to ‘the good stuff’ with Tina and certainly did not want to leave. “Sure Dane…you can join Shane and we’ll be over soon.”
Tina couldn’t help but laugh. She was happy that she and Alice had some alone time and were getting along so well.
Bette, on the other hand, rolled her eyes at the reporter’s response. “I think Dana was referring to Tina and me…alone?”
“Oh.” Alice bobbed her head in agreement. “I um…was just teasing…”
Tina gave Alice a warm smile. “Thanks for the great conversation, Alice.” Then she turned to Dana, “You and I will get to talk when we play some games?”
“Looking forward to it.” Dana grinned, even though she had no idea what ‘games’ Tina was referring to.
Bette looked at Tina with a puzzled expression. “Games?
Alice had a humongous grin plastered on her face. “Yeah! Tina promised we’d all head past the Pier and play some carnival games later.”
Tina looked at Bette excitedly. “Doesn’t that sound like fun?”
Bette tried her best to force a smile. “Yeah…fun.” She rubbed her temple and felt a headache coming on from the thought alone.
Alice had a twinkle in her eye and sported her Cheshire cat smile, “So much fucking fun I can hardly wait!”
Dana turned to Bette and Tina, “I’ll try to contain her. See you guys back on the beach…”
With that, Dana and Alice departed, leaving Bette and Tina alone.
Bette glanced at Tina with an inquisitive look. “So…”
Tina smiled at the brunette. “So…”
Bette couldn’t help but chuckle. “How much damage control needs to be done from what Alice has said?”
Tina let out a soft laugh. “None.”
Tina could tell Bette wanted to know what was discussed and the blonde couldn’t help but flirtatiously torment the brunette. “It was some interesting conversation though…”
Bette looked slightly alarmed and swallowed the lump forming in her dry throat. “What…exactly…was so interesting?”
“Alice did ask what my type was…” Tina began.

“Tina tried to maintain a somewhat normal smile and not break into one befitting of a maniac” If you replace “Tina” with “Jikes”, that’s how I look when I read one of your updates. That was too cute, I LOVE them, and this story. You know Hardyver (Yes I’m gonna talk about myself in the 3rd person) was busy concocting all kinds of delicious candy inventions, and that is why she was 87th down the list last time :P but now I’m only like, 75th down the list, so I guess it’s a step up right? Loved the games, the banter, the sexy water kissing! (We both love some Tibette ocean action it seems) :D But yeh, this comment is probs even longer than my epic PM huh? That was such a cute chapter. Loved how Bette and Tina got lost in the kiss while standing in the water. Alice is a hoot, but Bette will always have Tina’s heart.
