"Go ahead." Madonna said.
"It amazes me sometimes. She’s a natural with kids." Tina said.
"Lola and Roco love her. Tina, She’s really good. She’s really only been playing for a couple months." Madonna said.
"Yeah just since we’ve been back. She and her friends Sarah Zach and Ben have playing together in the studio." Tina said.
"You think they want to go all the way?" Madonna said.
"I don’t know. I guess so. Hey wait a minute. Let’s just keep this a hobby until after college and then we’ll go there." Tina said.
"Okay Okay." Madonna said.
"The other guests are beginning to arrive." Krissy, Madonna’s assistant, said.
"Oh great. Come on." Madonna said.
"Who all is coming tonight?" Tina asked.
"Just a few people. This is a family Dinner party." Madonna said.
She was telling the truth. It was a couple of families. Most of them with younger kids but a few were Gillian’s age. Tina and Gillian had a great as they always did and were always the last to leave.
When they got home they went straight upstairs to get ready for bed. Gillian was sitting on her bed reading when Tina came to tell her goodnight.
"Goodnight honey." Tina said.
"Goodnight Mom." Gillian said.
"Don’t stay up to late." Tina said.
"I won’t." She said. Tina turned to shut the door. "Mom?"
"Yeah honey." Tina said.
"Can I ask you a question?" She asked.
"Sure." Tina walked in and sat down next to Gillian on the bed.
"What were you and Madonna really talking about when I came in earlier?" Gillian asked.
"We were talking about you." Tina said.
"And?" Gillian said. She could tell when her mom wasn’t telling the whole story.
"And your dad and this dinner thing I am going to next week." Tina said slipping the dinner quickly.
"What about Dad wait what dinner?" Gillian asked.
"Dad is in LA and you are going to be staying with him and Peggy at the Beach house for the break. They are going to be spending more time in LA so he wants to work out a more frequent schedule to see you." Tina said.

You can’t pull the wool over some kids eyes…and they won’t forget when they ask you a questions and you change the subject…lol. I am loving this…who wouldn’t want to chat it up with Madonna as a neighbor or friend…awesome story.
