A Single Mom Meets Someone New! Ch 12

“I admire you for being able to do both I don’t think I could have.” Bette said.

“I think you could have. I now that I couldn’t done it alone.” Tina said.

    “Maybe.” Bette said.

“Do you want kids?” Tina asked.

“You know I never let the thought enter my mind because I was always so busy with work but I see you and Gillian and it makes me want one or two.” Bette said.

“I would like to have more one day. Maybe adopt.” Tina said. Tina stood and picked the game box up. She walked over to the shelves and put it away. She turned and looked at Bette who was still sitting on the floor watching her.

    “What’s the matter?” Bette asked.

“I don’t know. It just feels like this is all to good to be true. This is only our third date.” Tina said.

“I know what you mean but I don’t think its to good to be true. Do you believe in fate and destiny?” Bette asked.

“I guess so. Yes.” Tina said. Bette got up and walked over to Tina. She only stopped a couple inches away from Tina.

“I do. Fate brought us together. It would be silly of us to try and fight Fate.” Bette said.

“Sounds like you have you mind up on something.” Tina said.

“I might, but you’ll just have to wait and see.” Bette said.

“You may not know this about me but I am not a very patient person.” Tina said.

“So I’ve noticed, but we are going to have to be patient. I want you more than anything right now. I am not sure that Gillian is ready for us to move this fast. I don’t want to give her any reason to dislike me.” Bette said.

“I don’t see how anyone can dislike you.” Tina said.

“Me either, but some seem to find reason to anyway.” Bette said smiling. Tina laughed.

“Then there is no way I can convince you to stay.” Tina said.

“I am sure that you could very easily but I am going to go and promise that I will call you tomorrow.” Bette said. It was taking more her strength to walk away than she thought it would. She backed away from Tina after kissing her softly.

    1. Tina is slick. She lets Gillian go if there is a chaperone. Then the chaperone turns out to be her and then to top it all off she asks if she could bring a guest. We all know who that guest is going to be. Great way for Gillian to see Bette outside of her home.

    2. Tina is so lucky, has a smart child, she will go to see Madonna and the person that will be beside her will be Bette, what more she can ask? this is so good story
