MEANWHILE – ALICE’S POINT OF VIEW

It’s a beautiful, hot and sticky night. Another one in 4 days

“Will it ever stop?” She asks herself.

Seeing that she still has a lot of work to do, and with this heat, she doesn’t want to go to bed. She picks up the phone and calls Shane’s place. No answer.

” Of course, she’s out!” She says to herself.

She peels herself off her leather chair and gets her bag and her keys. She leaves.

She gets in her car and drives. She has absolutely no patience what so ever with this weather. She drives towards a open late ice cream place. The best one in West Hollywood.

She takes a right turn, and then a left turn on King street. Stops at a red light. A terrible song suddenly plays on the radio. Immediately, she tries to reach her CD wallet. For a brief moment her attention is no more on the road, but on her selection of CD’s.

Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to have seen the police car, park in the middle of the road. When her instinct tells her to look ahead, it’s already too late, she missed the red light. Her mind is spinning information on what just happened then she crashes her brand new car in the rear end of the police car.
