Bette: So if they can be so easily contained why does the federal government allow the Order to kill people.

Persia: It’s simple. Blackmail.

Sam: Blackmail?

Persia: The Order has threaten to tell the world what the government has been up to in regards to attempting to reduce female sperm and tell the world that female sperm does exist naturally. Can you imagine the outrage.

Sam: Yeah and also there would be more religious radicals to join the Order if they knew that female sperm existed. 

Bette: Well Persia if what you say is true about more people working for the Order through the federal government how will we know who to trust?

Persia: That’s a hard question. Even the sympathesizers working for the federal government don’t know who they can trust. Also some sympathesizers have turned out to be spies working for the Order. The golden rule is trust noone until they prove themselves trust worthy.

Sam: And how in the hell do we do that. I mean we don’t exactly have time to sit down and have tea with everyone that we meet.

Bette and Sam both suddenly felt as if they were carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders.

Just then Bette had a sick feeling in her stomach about Tina continuing to work on earth.

“What if the Order knows about Tina and wants to harm her,” Bette thought.
