Bette: Yes that is the same problem on our planet. Plutarians initially thought that earth had found the answer to our over population but my people quickly learned that the humanoid form of birth control was 0% effective in preventing a pregnancy on our planet. However I heard that my people are quickly approaching a pill form of birth control that will be at least 98% effective. Right now if we don’t want to get pregnant we have to use clapped rubber that is five inches thick. We have tried to teach our children to use this method but noone finds it desirable and therefore over population continues.

Persia: Well I hope when your people find a more effective form of birth control that they will share it with earth.

Sam and Bette just nodded their heads in agreement.

Persia: I’m sorry to burden you down with finding all these women a home when you obviously have a dilemma to resolve of your own.

Sam: Persia it’s okay. I hope in the future we can help you but right now we need to find our sister of Plutara.

Persia shook her head as if she understood.

Persia: From what I have heard Sepia is being held by the federal government. She was taken out of the Order’s custody almost as soon as she was captured.

Bette: So what is the difference between the Order and the federal government.

Persia: The Order seeks to eliminate any female human or otherwise that can impregnate or get pregnant by another female while the federal government seeks to reduce the number of births cause by other humanoid females. In addition, the federal government has secretly signed a treaty with Plutara stating that Plutarians can come and visit earth but can only stay on earth for no more than two weeks.

Bette: So why are they holding Sepia.

Persia: The treaty also states that Plutarians will not medal in federal matters.

Sam: How is it that Sepia’s intereference with the Order’s attempt to kill Reika and her unborn child seen as interfering with the federal government.

Persia: That’s a good question. The only rational explanation is that there are more people working for the Order in the federal government than the federal government realizes. The federal government knows that the Order exist but they believe that the Order is just a small group of radicals that can be contained.
