    B&T chapter 25

     

    Chapter 25

     

     

    It was Friday afternoon and Tina, Shane and Carmen were enjoying the first class lounge at the airport.

    Soon after their flight was called to be boarded Tina was very excited she couldn’t wait to see Bette. Tina felt her phone vibrate signaling she had a text message it was from Bette, Tina opened and read it:

     

    T,

    Thanks 4 the flowers they’re beautiful just like u!

    Missing U lots!  Call me when ur done

     

    Bette xoxo

     

     

    Tina smiled.

     

    “Let me guess that was Bette thanking you for the flowers” Shane said

     

    “Yup, I have another surprise that’s going to be sent to her, in a bit”

     

    “Wow Tina spoil her much?  Why don’t you ever do nice things for me Shane” Carmen teased

    “I’m sorry Carm. But I’m not loaded like Tina I’m just a poor college student.” Shane pouted as she leaned in and gave Carmen a quick kiss.

     

    “Awe it’s ok, baby you make up for it in other areas” Carmen smiled

     

    They had a good laugh sat back and relaxed as Tina fell asleep.

     

    “Look I don’t care what you have to do those pictures need to be here by Wednesday, I need to have them framed and that takes at least a week, so If you want us to show your artists work you’ll have them here by then”  Bette was frustrated

     

    Bette hung up the phone her morning had been insanely busy she was now regretting her decision to come in today after all she had already arranged to be off, but she knew if she had stayed home she would only be thinking of Tina, God she missed her so much.

     

    The only bright thing about her morning was the beautiful arrangement of roses she had received from Tina. Bette loved white roses and that’s what Tina had sent 2 dozen of them.  It was amazing how well they knew each other, scary sometimes that the person who you loved and slept with knew what you were thinking just by the look on your face or knew what you were feeling just by a simple body movement. It could be both a blessing and a curse.
