    B&T Chapter 21 and 21 1/2

     

    “I assure you Peggy we are being very careful with your pieces they are the talk of the night”

     

    “Bette, I believe you already know Helena my daughter”

     

    “Yes, Helena nice to see you again” Bette said as they shook hands.

     

    “Peggy, Helena I’d like you to meet my girlfriend Tina Kennard”

     

    “Tina this is Peggy and Helena Peabody”

     

    Tina shook Peggy Hand

     

    “Very nice to meet you, I’ve heard about your foundation and all the wonderful things you’ve done to help Foster care and children in need” Tina said as she shook Peggy hand

     

    “Well, thank you very much Ms. Kennard and yes our foundation really does great work doesn’t it?”  Peggy proudly smiled at Tina

     

    “Please call me Tina”

     

    “Very well Tina it is, I like her Bette how she got involved with the likes of you I don’t know”

     

    “Yes, I know Im very lucky” Bette smiled

     

    “Hi, nice to meet you” Tina said as she offered her hand to Helena

     

    “Hello, may I call you Tina?”

     

    “Of course” Tina replied

     

    “Well, Tina it is very nice to meet you” Helena shook Tina’s hand and held it a little too long.

     

    Tina started to feel a little uncomfortable as she pulled her hand away, this not going unnoticed by Bette.

     

    “So Tina may I ask how you are familiar with the Peabody Foundation? Not too many people are aware of our support of Children’s Charities”

     

    “Well Bette’s sister run’s a Children’s home back in California last year I filmed a short documentary on the lack of resources and The Peabody Foundation came up in my research, the work and funding the Foundation has done has been a huge help to places like Kit’s.”

     

    Bette looked proud she was beaming as Tina talked and taking notice on the admiration of Tina on Helena’s face Bette reached out for Tina’s hand and held it throughout the conversation.

     

    There was a brief silence.

     

    “So Bette where is that no good boss of yours?”

     

    “Franklins probably talking to one of the potential donors you know making his presence known” Bette answered

    3. Fantastic update. One favor please, Please do not let Helena get her hooks into Tina. Hopefully Tina told Bette what Helena had said to her. Helena is that vampire that our girl Bette referred to in S2 and to me in that conversation with Tina she was salavating like a hungry wolf targeting his prey. Please don’t let her get to Tina. I can already see the problems coming up with Bette having the job in LA, indeed if she even gets it because I think that damned Helena will do everything she can to keep her from getting the job. And Hell will have started for them with Helena being its chief engineer. Awesome update. Keep writing and we’ll keep reading. Thanks for posting.
