Tina: “You two sound close………if Kit has your charm……then boy am I in trouble Bette”
Bette: “I dont know about that one………but she means a lot to me…….and I know you two are going to get along just fine……I told Kit 1 oclock, is that ok with you…….we can met at the gallery, Tee……Ill ask Frank to drive you to work and follow you around”
Tina: “BETTE……..I dont need at babysitter”
Bette: “I know…….but where you are going so is Frank or Dennis until further notice Tee……You are not out of danger yet, until we have solved this matter”
Tina: “OK MOM………you win……can we get startet on dinner?”
Bette: “Thank you…….let me make a few calls, then Ill be right out”
Tina: “Ok……..tell Lara I said hey”
Bette: “Ok…..Ill be right out”
Bette and Tina shared a light kiss and Tina went out of the guestroom, closing the door behind her, to give Bette some privacy.
Bette and Lare spoke on the phone for about an hour. Lara emailed a copy of the material, she had found today, for Bette to read, to be on top of things again.
They said their goodbyes and Bette checked her email. She had tons of email to answer and one in partically cought her eye. It was an email from Lara, regarding a backgrond check on Candace Juwel from NYPD. Candace had a past in the military, which Bette thought was interesting. She emailed John for information. Telling him to speed up things, regarding her background.
Bette startet answering her email and time just flew away from her. There was a knock on her door. But Bette didnt hear it. Tina opened the door, only to see Bette typing on her laptop. Miles away from reality, just in her own thoughts.Tina studied Bette from the door, looking at her face, to see if she could read her mind, but no luck. Tina walked towards Bette, but still no reaction from Bette.Tina put her hand on Bettes shoulder and it starteled Bette. “God Tina……..you almost gave me a heartattack”
Tina: “You seemed so raped up in your work, you didnt hear me knocking on the door”
