Chapter 11
Tina: “I didn’t think planning a party would take so much work. Kristen had better be grateful, because this is definitely not my forte.” Tina said into the receiver as she organized the papers on her desk.
Bette: “Well if you’re going to do it right, it takes a little more time then something just thrown together at the last minute.” Bette kicked back in her chair, put her feet up and decided to enjoy the conversation.
Tina: “Yeah well, I am learning that.”
Bette: “Have you set it up with her husband?”
Tina: “Yeah, Jared has been a great help. He decided to keep the kids, and just let her have a night to herself. That was nice of him.”
Bette: “Cool. Well just think about it like this: by tomorrow night the party will be over and you won’t have to think about parties any longer. At least until my birthday of course.”
Tina: “When is your birthday? I can’t believe that I have been dating someone for over a month and don’t even know when their birthday.”
Bette: “It’s alright. I think you’ve had a lot more to think about with me other than the day I was born.”
Tina: “That’s true. So when is it?”
Bette: “December 30th, right after Christmas.”
Tina: “So almost two month’s away. That’s fine, I will still have plenty of time to plan yours.”
Bette: “Tina, I was just joking. I don’t expect you to throw me a birthday party.”
Tina: “I know that, and I knew you were joking. But am I?”
Bette: “Idon’tknow.” So when is your birthday?”
Tina: “September 19th. I’m a Virgo.”
Bette: “And I’m a Capricorn.”
Tina: “Did you know that our signs are compatible?”
Bette: “Really? I never would have guessed.”
Tina: “Cute. So what are you doing?”
Bette: “Sitting at my desk enjoying this conversation. And you?”
Tina: “Sitting at my desk, stressing over this party.”
Bette: “Ah, you know, I have very fond memories of that office. And in particular, that desk.”
Tina: “You do, do you?”
Bette: “Oh yes I do. Very fond memories.” An idea popped into Bette’s mind. She immediately vetoed it, but changed her mind and decided to be capricious for once with Tina.

These last two chapters were terrific. I’m so excited, this is gonna be good I know it. Paybacks always a bitch but its definitly worth it when its for the good. By the way, your little sexapade over the telephone, worked for me.
