Previously in CH 9 A lost Bette and a Revelation
“I think traveling a bit, might prove to be a good thing.” Tina said smiling into the phone.
“Well it certainly is having its advantages” was Bette’s reply.
“Well lover, I really should let you get some sleep. Will you call me in the morning?”
“Absolutely. I love you Tina. Um, just in case you still miss me a little, I left you my favorite shirt under the pillow.”
Tina reached under and pulled it out. A plain cotton t-shirt, that smelled wonderfully of Bette.
“Thank you Baby. I remember doing this all the time before. I wish you had mine with you.”
Softly Bette said, “I do.”
They said their goodbyes and thousands of miles apart, they both drifted off cuddling their love , in a couple of old t-shirts. They both knew they were falling in love again, and nothing had ever felt sweeter.

Tina sat in the middle of the livingroom floor in complete wonder.
“3 days” she muttered. “3 days she has been gone, and already this place looks like a war zone.”
“How did I not notice how much she did around here the last 7 months.” Tina admonished herself.
In pile beside her, are 5 different loads of laundry, all in different stages of process. Some are cleaned and folded, some are clean and needing folding, and , and the rest need to be cleaned and then folded. Then there was the vacuuming and the dusting. Thank god Bette shopped before she left or I would starve too.
Maybe, Tina thought, with Bette back to work we could look at having someone come in again during the week to clean and stuff. I’ll have to talk to Bette about that tonight when she calls she thought.
In New York, Bette is just going into her first session with a therapist. Her nerves are apparent, but her will to fix her life and make a new life back in L.A. was much stronger than her desire to hide within herself.
The two weeks apart, though busy for both was also lonely. They talked 2 times a day on the phone , and Bette was thrilled to hear Angelica making noises over the phone that to her ear sounded like “mama” but were in actuality nonsensical baby noise.

Inkster, that was hot. Is it even possible to not wake until an orgasm hits? I mean with an actual lover as opposed to one that’s dream inspired. Ah, well, love is the drug I’m thinking of as the old song says. Quite a sedative, and yet an up all at the same time.
