Tina led Bette outside onto the deck and had Bette lay out on one of the lounge chairs. Tina joined her, she felt as drained as Bette looked. They stared at each other for the longest time, neither wanting to talk anymore and felt content to be able to hold each other. Eventually they both drifted off to sleep as the sound of the ocean and the relief both felt that they would have a future lulled them both.
After a day of fun Alice drove back to the beach house with Eli. The sun was down and since neither women were answering the phone Alice decided to bring Eli back at the assigned hour. As she pulled into the driveway she turned towards Eli.
“Okay they might be a little out of it but they both love each other very much and between you and me I’ve never seen two people who were meant to be with each other more then Bette and your mom.”
“Aunt Alice what do you think is going to happen we both live so far away from each other.”
Alice ruffled Eli’s hair. “Let them worry about it they’ll figure it out. They love each other too much to be apart again. Okay are you ready to go in?”
“Yeah.” Eli wasn’t nervous Aunt Alice said they’d be a little out of it, he thought back to how his mom would be sometimes after a hard session. It wasn’t bad she’d want to hang out with him and they’d end up watching a movie or something that involved both of them. He just hoped that everything went alright.
Alice rang the doorbell a few times but no one answered. “Maybe they went for a walk, the cars are still here so we know they’re around…Umm do you have a key?”
Eli dug through his pocket and pulled out the spare key for Alice. As they made there way inside they saw all the lights off. Alice turned on some lights and started looking around. Eli opened the back door and let Nero back in. Alice went out into the den and saw the door leading outside was open. She stepped out and found Bette and Tina asleep in each others arms. Eli walked out shortly after with Nero.
“I guess they really were drained. Mom almost never goes to sleep this early.”
Alice smiled. “Well Porter over there is getting kind of old, she may need a nap or two.”
Alice heard a muffled “Shut up,” from Bette.
Tina also began to stir. “What baby?”
Bette looked back at Tina. “Nothing T I was just talking to Alice.”
Tina turned over, “Hey Al, honey did you just get here?”
“TK I don’t think Porter there would appreciate you sweet talking me in front of her and I’m a married woman now you can look but you can’t touch.”
Bette held Tina tighter. “Be quiet Piezecki.”
“See she’s clearly lashing out.”
Tina looked over at Eli. “Did you have fun with your Aunts today?”
“Yeah mom we went to the X Games at the Staple Center. The vert competition was so cool, I’ll tell you everything we did.”
“Okay…” Tina looked back at Bette. “You ready to go in babe.” Bette nodded and Tina leaned in for a quick kiss before they walked back inside.
Bette walked Alice to the door. “Hey thanks for showing Eli a good time today.”
“Don’t mention it Porter. Sooo it looks like you guys have worked things out.”
Bette smiled and Alice saw the look in Bette’s eyes. “We did. It’s really going to happen; we’re going to be a family.”
Alice hugged her best friend. “I’m so happy for you Bette. Both of you deserve to be happy…” Alice pulled out of the hug. “Get back in there Porter your family’s waiting.”
Bette’s smile was the biggest Alice had seen. “Okay.” Bette hurriedly went back inside to her family, unwilling to spend anymore time away from them.

Thank you for posting, I have been waiting for an update. I am so glad they talked…I mean REALLY talked. I think for the most part they pretty much covered everything and neither one of them bolted…no furniture was thrown…no obscene gestures…all in all it was a good day. Please post soon.

Waow, it took me like… an hour???… to read this!!! Toribio, that was amazing. I mean, the last part was very intense and… yes, quite painful, but I really think that was necessary, in order for them to move on. Like Tina said, some things really needed to be let out… Thank you for making the ‘talk’ painfully realistic, but still give us the happy ending to it that we’re all craving for! … and now, ladies and gentlemen, on with the loving!!! My deepest thanks to a very talented writer…
I nearly feel drained after going through that with them. I was wondering earlier when we’d get another chapter. That sucks that school got in the way. Stupid school. =p

Oh snap! I totally forgot to comment on the first part of the chapter! So Tina gets horny when she’s hot. I can’t say that I do. All I do is moan and groan and not in a good way. I get pretty cranky. I’d rather keep it cool inside so I can snuggle with the one I love and not feel suffocated.
gosh that was worth waiting for. loved every word of it.. so happy they are getting back together,now to figure out where they will live. and the gallery opening, surely Bette and Tina will have Eli in a tux, he’ll be so handsome and I guess Bette will have Ollie and the gang from NY there as well, then everyone will be as happy as clams. can hardly wait for the next few chapters. thanks for a wonderful story. anything that gets and keeps our girls together makes me very happy.

Tina had a lot of anger to vent at Bette. I am glad that she got it out of her system and really listened to what Bette had to say. I am glad that you were able to post and look forward to the next chapter.
an incredible talk a hard one but it was necessary for both of them, they needed to have this kind of talk to try to put out all their fears and angers that they have been carriying all this time. Thanks for the post i know you try so hard to do it! this was so good!

As hard as it is, sometimes you have to get it all out and let it go otherwise it will slowly eat away at you. Now that I am exhausted I’m going to try and work. Love your story, love the update, and so can’t wait for more. Isn’t it about time for long overdue make-up sex?
