A helping hand a push in the right direction—Ch. 37

Bette noticed that when Tina was around all she could feel was this intense all consuming love for her partner and she could feel that same intense feeling of love radiating towards her. Tina was her everything and she knew how cliché that sounded—when Alice first asked how she knew that this straight girl was the one Bette made the mistake of telling her. At first Tina was this person who she was in awe of she couldn’t put her finger on what exactly drew her in…she had met many beautiful women in her life but Tina blew them all away and it wasn’t just her physical beauty although she always felt that her T was the most beautiful woman she had ever been with but Tina had so much love inside her and when that love was directed at her it was just the greatest feeling Bette had ever felt.

Tina was also her best friend, the person who knew her completely and loved her for who she really was faults and all. She was the woman that she craved and her needs which were quite substantial could easily be satisfied by a simple look an innocent touch a loving smile of which she had many. Tina would often go on and on about how she loved Bette’s smile but her T had so many smiles and Bette loved seeing each and every one of them—Bette never thought she’d love somebody so much that she’d go out of her way just to see them smile…but she did just that with Tina and when she did coax a smile out of her T it felt so good to know that she was the reason behind it. She would often laugh at how their friends would always see Tina as the innocent one in their relationship but Bette was thrilled immensely by a wild streak that ran down Tina and from which she benefited from, if the girls really knew her T the way she knew her their toes would curl but she would never tell them because that part of her was for her sole enjoyment.

Her T was also a force to be reckoned with she had so much strength within her but the only people who really saw that side of her were the people who worked with her and Bette but Tina was never the kind of person who needed to exert power over another person at least not in her personal life. Bette always felt Tina’s strength in their relationship and was willing share control with her partner the fact that she so willingly made herself vulnerable to Tina was a testament to how safe she felt when she was with her T. Bette didn’t give up control easily in fact she never really felt safe enough to do so until she meet Tina. Tina would always be her angel the woman who brought love back into her life who saved her from a life of just existing.

    1. Go get em “T”. Bette may be the alpha, but when it comes to Bette, women beware cos Tina will chew you up and spit you out. Glad to see they were both honest with each other.

    2. Oh god, Toribio, I so love this story!!! And you so deserved that award! By the way, shorter chapters more frequently totally works for me! Now about this… Thank you for taking this direction. To tell the truth I didn’t understand why B&T were ready to fight at the end of the last chapter. I understand the circumstnaces, but on that particular issue about Ava, B&T were always allies in my view… But in yours too given the direction you took… Great turn out and great transparency of feelings, I like that…. everything out in the open. Don’t get me wrong, I know that B&T might have fights in the future, I mean that’s what couples do, even with the greatest love of all, but as for this situation, I couldn’t see a fight… A serious talk yes, but not a fight. Oh, and do I love that ending! And can’t wait to see Tina’s reaction to Ava… the lionness in action! Go, Tina! Thanks Toribio, and talk soon…

    3. Ava has never been got like Tina is going to get her. She will walk out with her tail draging and a very whipped look on her face. Go get her TINA. thanks

    4. Toribio, This chapter was just Great. Tina is going to let have good I hope. I am glad they talked. I so love your story. shorter chapters more offten is fine with me. Thank you PPS

    5. Whoa, Tina is ready to put Ava in her place. I still believe that Ava did go looking for Bette to get a foot up. I think that Ava knew that Tina was still in love with Bette and was not totally ready to move on. Thank you for not making the drama to painful.

    6. I definately am in agreement with Tina giving Ava a piece of her mind…I hope it is after all the guests have left though…this is Bette’s night. Ava is gonna get ripped a new one.

    7. I love you story any way you decide to post it, just KEEP writing. I love the idea of Tina giving Ava a piece of her mind, but only after Ava has to stand back and watch Bette, Tina and Eli take a lot of publicity shoots and they rub it in her face by being all loveie, dovie and stilling kisses while the pictures are being taken of then with guest and their extended family. I bet Melvin is glad that someone is in the cross fire and even he would B&T against anyone trying to hurt them. Blood IS thicker than water. Please read your PM’S :o)
