“So, how was your day?” Bette asks.
“I met up with Alice and Shane for lunch. It was good just hanging with them again. It’s been a while since I did that.” Tina says.
“You can hang with them, you know. And maybe go out with them once in a while. I won’t mind. They’re your friends, they came first.” Bette says and put her hand on Tina’s knee.
“You won’t mind me going out without you?” Tina asks a little surprised.
“No, I won’t mind cause I know you’ll come home to me every night. And besides, I’ll have you for the rest of my life, I think I can spare you a day here and there.” Bette replies.
“I love you.” Tina says and leans in for a kiss. Bette smiles.
“What do you say we head home. I’ll fix us some dinner.” Bette suggests.
“You, fix food? I’m not having pancakes for dinner today.” Tina replies and let out a little laugh. “I’ll drop by the market and get something. Some real food.” Tina says and stands up pulling Bette up also.
“Okay, fine by me. I love your cooking.” Bette says and leans in for another kiss.
She walks back to her desk and shuts off the computer. She then takes Tina’s hand and they walk out to their cars.
“So, I’ll see you in 30 minutes or so.” Tina says.
“Yes, you will. Drive carefully.” Bette replies and squeezes Tina’s hand.
“I will.” Tina says and smiles. Bette watches Tina leave and she’s about to pull out herself, her cell phone rings.
“Hello?” Bette says.
“Bette, hi, its me.” Kit says.
“Kit hi, what’s up?” Bette asks.
“Oh, nothing much It’s his birthday today.” She says with a sad voice.
“Yes, I know. Have you called him?” Bette asks.
“No, I’m afraid to.” Kit replies softly.
“Kit, he’s your son, you shouldn’t be afraid to call him.” Bette says.
“But what shall I say to him?” She asks.
“Tell him happy birthday and that you miss him.” Bette replies.
“Are you going to call him?” Kit asks.
“Yes, I am. You know I always do that.” Bette says. “Why don’t I tell him that you will call. Then He’ll be prepared for it, okay?” Bette adds.

that was great kit need to get close to her son again, the wedding is coming cant wait but Tina going out alone is not a good idea even with the girls but jealous sometimes spice relationships, maybe a little bit, lol, another great chappy im looking forward for the 100th chapter maybe the wedding or a hot honeymoon, lol, thank you L

Lauren…100 coming soon…and so on and so on. LOL. It’s nice that Kit wants to reestablish a relationship with David. It’s really sweet that Bette has been there for both of them. Now I know that Bette trusts Tina and vice versa…but going out without Bette — while Alice is around is dangerous. LOL. Just more possibilities for drama and comedy. Thanks Lauren for the update.
