    Chapter 93

     

    Two weeks have passed and they have both thrown away the crutches. They’re walking on their own again, Tina is still a little unsteady from time to time, but she manages. Christmas is only one and a half month away and even though they’re having a small ceremony, there’s still a lot to plan. They want the day to be perfect.

    Tina has started working again. She started up as a freelancer. Alice got her a few gigs. Just so she got out of the house from time to time. Bette is back at the Club and the office. Helping Lara out from time to time, with the training appointments.

    Jessie has moved in with Stephanie and the kids in Bette’s old Apartment, which Stephanie bought for about 500.000 dollars.

    Tina is out with Alice on an interview. She has a few minutes to spare, so she walks away from Alice and calls up her judge friend.

    “Mike, hi. It’s Tina.” Tina says.

    “Tina, hello, it’s been a long time. How are you?” Mike asks.

    “Oh, I’m doing fine, and you?” She asks.

    “I’m doing great too.” He replies.

    “I’m glad. The reason I call is to ask you something.” Tina starts.

    “Okay.” He says and waits for the question.

    “Do you do weddings? I mean same ***** ceremonies?” Tina asks and holds her breath for his reply.

    “I haven’t done them, but I’m more than willing to do it. Are you getting married?” Mike asks and smiles.

    “Yeah, it looks like it.” Tina says and let out a little laugh.

    “So, who’s the lucky one. Is it Karen, you two were pretty serious a few years ago.” He says.

    “No, we broke up three years ago. It’s Bette Porter. We’ve been together now for almost a year.” Tina replies.

    “Bette Porter, the golfer?” He asks.

    “Yep, that’s the one.” Tina replies.

    “Wow, I though she was straight.” He says.

    “She was, until she met me.” Tina says and smiles.

    “Well, I’m happy for you Tina, I really am. So when is this ceremony taking place?” He asks.

    “Well, that’s the thing, we’re planning on having it at Christmas. The 24th of December. Around two in the afternoon.” Tina says.

    “Oh, hmm. I guess I can make it work. We’re having dinner with my wife’s family. But I think I’ll be able to do it. Let me talk to my wife, and I’ll call back to you later today, okay?” He says.

    3. GOOD I’M GLAD THEY ARE BOTH WALKING… SO HOW ABOUT BETTE HAVING THE FIRST BABY… TINA WOULD THEN HAVE TIME TO HEAL… AND MAYBE TINA’S BROTHER COULD THE DONOR… BUT NO ONE ELSE WOULD HAVE TO KNOW… PLEASE CONTINUE

    5. Lauren…thanks for the update. Yes..it’s very good to have them talking. They open and honest with one another and that’s how it should be. It’s great that Mike will perform the ceremony. Glad that they’re both doing what makes them happy…photography & golf.

    11. aww..what a surprise..they are both walking again that is great…comunication is the key of a great relationship and im glad they always up to talk to each other when something is bothering them..i like to think that Tina will be the one carring their child when the right time comes.. i dont know but i think Bette will enjoy more that way…pamper and take care of Tina..oh Bette´s mom knows about the wedding???..i cant wait for the wedding and Tinas family will be there right?..another amazing chappy lauren as always cant wait for more and thanks :o)
