Meanwhile down in physio:
Tina is now in with Darren, she tells him the great news. That she feels.
He smiles.
“But I cannot move them though.” She adds.
“Yeah, that’s common, you’ll regain the feeling first, and then the moving will come too. Just have to be patient.” Darren says.
We’ll do the massage to day too and then some bending and stuff.” He says.
“Okay.” Tina replies.
“So where is Bette today?” He asks.
“She’s up in the ER, she got a broken nose.” Tina replies.
“Oh my, is she okay?” He asks.
“Yeah, she’s hurting but she’s okay.” Tina replies.
Meanwhile in the ER:
They are finished and walk over to the light board hanging on the wall. He places them on it and turns it on.
He looks at them carefully for a few moments.
“Yeah, as I thought. Your nose is broken, and it’s a badly fracture.” He says.
“A badly one? What is needed?” Bette asks.
“Well, reconstruction surgery.” He replies.
“What?” Bette asks surprised.
“Yeah, it’s a small surgery, it only take 30 minutes to an hour. It’s just to straighten up the nose wall.” He says.
“Oh. When?” Bette asks.
“It’s slow now, so we could do it in two hours. If that works for you?” He asks.
“Sure, I just have to make it work.” Bette says and smiles.
“Great, I’ll set up the OR. You have to stay here the night after the surgery, since it is the nose, one of your sources to breathing.” He says and smiles.
“Sure. So what now? My fianc is down is physio, she’ in a wheelchair after a car accident, she needs my help. I have to go and get her.” She says.
“Sure, take an hour, and then report yourself in the reception up on the 3rd floor.” Dr. Paul says.
“Thanks” Bette replies.
“I’ll see you in an hour.” He says and leaves. Bette also leaves. She head back to physio. She sees that Tina is still in with Darren. She walks up to the reception.
“Can I go in?” Bette whispers and points to the door.
The nurse is on the phone but she nods. She recognizes Bette from the other day.
Bette gently opens the door.
“Hey.” She says as she walks in.
“Hi, baby. What did it say?” He asks.
“Well, I’m going into surgery in a couple of hours, but I have to get up there in an hour.
“What? Are you serious?” Tina asks.
“Yeah I am.” Bette says. “They have to do some reconstruction on my nose wall or something. And I have to stay the night at the hospital.” Bette says.

I believe than one Tina Kennard will want to be at the hospital with bette. Just remember Jessie and Stephanie will be at Bettes house. So they will take care of Tina and Good old Shane will be with Bette. thanks

this is an ER fiction?..wheres Dr John Carter..lol..serious..Tina for sure will wants to stay with Bette but she wouldnt she still in recovery…maybe one of the girls could stay with her and Jessie and Steph will take care of Tina..ohh i cant wait to see Tina walking again..hey wheres Tinas sister?..lol..thanks for another great chapter cant wait for more thanks Lauren :o)

it will be hard for Tina spend the night without Bette she could stay with Bette a little while after the surgery and then go home to rest, i hope Tina start feel everything in a bit to finally feel Bette all of Bette *wink* great chapter L thank you
Poor Bette. This should be interesting since neither one of them is going to want to be away from the other one.
Lauren…glad you’re enjoying school. Poor Bette…I’m sure Tina will stay. It seems they really do need one another at this time…so I don’t see Tina not being at her side. Lauren…thanks for the 2 chapters this Wednesday. Really nice surprise. ;-)

Caught up on reading. Just a question, how about Stephanie buying Tina’s place? Didn’t you write that it was smaller than Bette’s so it would be more affordable? Would be nice if they could work it out that way. Bette’s place could accomodate kids. Thanks for continuing your story. Great to hear you’re enjoying school.
