Chapter 78
They got there 15 minutes before Tina’s appointment, so they went into the ER to see if they could get an x-ray of Bette’s nose.
They walk up to the reception.
“Hi, I was wondering if I could get an x-ray of my nose?” Bette asks.
“What happened?” The nurse asks.
“Well, last night I got hit in the face. The police are involved in it.” Bette replies.
“Oh okay, let’s see” She checks the computer. “Yeah, we can look at it in 15 minutes, What is your name?” The nurse asks.
“It’s Bette Porter.” Bette replies.
“Okay.” The nurse replies. “You can just take a seat in the waiting area.” The nurse adds.
“I have to get her to physio on the other side, it’ll take 5 minutes. Will that be okay?” Bette asks.
“No, sure it’s okay.” The nurse replies and smiles.
“Thanks.” Bette says and turns around and wheels Tina out and towards the physio department. She leaves her in the waiting room.
“Okay, so I’ll be up there, if I finish shortly I’ll come back here, but if it take a little longer, are you able to make it up into the ER?” Bette asks.
“Yes, I am.” Tina says and smiles.
“Okay, good. I wish I could be here with you, especially now.” Bette says.
“Me too, but you are hurting, I want you to get that fixed.” Tina says.
“Yeah. I love you.” Bette says and leans down and kisses her on the lips.
“I love you too.” Tina replies.
Bette leaves and head back up to the ER.
A doctor come and get her 5 minutes later.
“Hi Ms. Porter. I’m Dr. Paul Hawkins. If you’ll just follow me.” He says.
Bette follows him into the x-ray room.
“Okay, let’s see. You got hit on the nose?” He asks.
“Yes, by a man, he kind of hit me between the nose and my left eye.” Bette says and points to her face.
“Okay, we’ll take some pictures and see what we’re dealing with. But I got to tell you, it doesn’t look good, it seems to me that it’s broken.” He says.
“Yeah, I figured that.” Bette agrees.
She lay down on the bench and the x-ray machine is being placed on top of her face. They take several pictures from different angles.

I believe than one Tina Kennard will want to be at the hospital with bette. Just remember Jessie and Stephanie will be at Bettes house. So they will take care of Tina and Good old Shane will be with Bette. thanks

this is an ER fiction?..wheres Dr John Carter..lol..serious..Tina for sure will wants to stay with Bette but she wouldnt she still in recovery…maybe one of the girls could stay with her and Jessie and Steph will take care of Tina..ohh i cant wait to see Tina walking again..hey wheres Tinas sister?..lol..thanks for another great chapter cant wait for more thanks Lauren :o)
This one shall be interesting to see how it pans out for B & T. Like the story so far.
it will be hard for Tina spend the night without Bette she could stay with Bette a little while after the surgery and then go home to rest, i hope Tina start feel everything in a bit to finally feel Bette all of Bette *wink* great chapter L thank you
Poor Bette. This should be interesting since neither one of them is going to want to be away from the other one.
Lauren…glad you’re enjoying school. Poor Bette…I’m sure Tina will stay. It seems they really do need one another at this time…so I don’t see Tina not being at her side. Lauren…thanks for the 2 chapters this Wednesday. Really nice surprise. ;-)

Caught up on reading. Just a question, how about Stephanie buying Tina’s place? Didn’t you write that it was smaller than Bette’s so it would be more affordable? Would be nice if they could work it out that way. Bette’s place could accomodate kids. Thanks for continuing your story. Great to hear you’re enjoying school.
