“That’s great Seb, thank you. I owe you one… She’s depressed and getting worse. The doctor said she should have her sight back by now.” Julia says.
“Yeah, I hope so too. Again thank you Seb. Yeah, I’ll talk to you later.” Julia says and hangs up. She walks back to Tina.
“He’ll call me tomorrow morning with the time. He said he was gonna try to get her in tomorrow. Or as soon as possible.” Julia says.
“Thank you. And Julia, could you maybe not say anything to your mom? I think it’ll be better if I tell her right before we have to leave for the appointment.” Tina says.
“Sure. I won’t tell her.” Julia says.
“Thank you. Come on, let’s join our family.” Tina says and put her arm around Julia’s shoulder and they walk outside.
“Mommy, look now.” Noah says as he runs to the pool edge and jumps in. He comes up for air and wipes his face free of water and then looks up at his mommy.
“That was great sweetie. But be careful, so you don’t slip, okay?” Tina says.
“Okay.” Noah replies and ducks under the water and swims around.
Tina takes a seat next to Bette.
“Is she still sleeping?” Bette asks.
“Yes, why don’t I take her into her bed.” Tina suggests.
“Okay.” Bette says and let Tina lift Andrea up and they go inside.
Danny comes out of the pool and he slips and hurts his knee a little. He starts to cry. Bette sits up straight, but can’t do much more. Julia and Jessie hurries over and helps him.
“Hey, it’s okay. Let me look.” Jessie says, while Julia holds him.
“I hurt my knee.” Danny cries.
“I know, come on let’s get it cleaned.” Jessie says.
“Mom, we’re taking him inside. We’ll be right back.” Julia says.
“Is he okay?” Bette asks, looking at the shapes moving towards the door.
“Yes, just a little bruise. We’ll clean it up and he’ll be as good as new.” Julia says.
“Okay.” Bette replies.
They walk in with a crying Danny. Tina has just closed the door to Andrea’s room.
“What happened?” She asks as she looks on.
“He fell and hurt his leg. We’ll clean him. Go out to Bette, she seemed a little… you know.” Jessie says.

IT’s not easy to posted 209 chapter and you did! why? because you are a great writer! i am agree with Tina rules if somebody doesn’t like the story then don’t read it there is a lot of other story in this site! but please all the people that write deserve our respect and admiration to spend her time in writting. Please continue post i know you will make Bette better!

You know it’s idiotic comments from people who don’t even attempt to offer any valid, credible suggestions for a storyline that really p*** me off!!! Lauren, I love this story and I’ve missed it. I was scared silly when the girls took Danny into the house and left Bette alone with Noah still in the pool. Thankfully you did not let anything happen to him or them. But again, you know, if something had happened to Noah and Bette had to rescue him, the extra adrenaline could have been the spark to make her see again. Just a thought. Happy to see this post.

Lauren thank you so much for continuing this story…it was missed I for one enjoy your writing. It would be nice if life was all peaches and cream but it’s not…sometimes we get handed a whole bunch of ca-ca…on a stick. I don’t know about anyone else but I have YET to see a positive comment from kg…she only comes out when it’s the NEGATIVE NANCY hour…what is up with that? I mean the sh*t is getting really old. I am almost mad at myself for even responding to it. But you know it has to be addressed I mean for the many writers who let this ish run off their back…there is probably one or 2 writers who have taken offense and actually stopped writing…that’s the sad part. Damn!

I was really scared when Tina carried Andrea inside and Jess and Julia took Danny inside leaving Bette alone outside with Noah still in the pool. I am hopeful that things go well with the specialist. It’s not that I don’t know or believe that Bette can be fully funtionally blind, but she and her family have been through so much physically drama, that I feel that she deserves a break. Lauren, in thw words of Star Trek “Make it so” :o)

simple = tis story started beautifully but since then the couple has been in and out of hospitals – either themselves or their kids – come on no one deserves to be tormented with such sufferings – even in fanfic – real life is aleady depressing – so why should one be subjected to such depressing shitty story. its nice to live in a fan fic world but go thru every chapters – every one of them have disastershowever i will add to say that Lauren used to write good stories which i think were excellent – this is dumb – my own view- reminds me of ano fan fic writer with a trilogy stories who loves to inflict tragedies and disasters on the couple – makes those who are reading it – depressed

Hey Continue.I thought IC’s drama was too much!, But she ain’t got nuttin on you!, Ok well she has, the fact that danish is gone, and well tibette .. you know. Keep going, Although I must admitt this family has been through hell, shoot the pits of Hell .. Will they get a long break, better yet, will they live in peace, give em a year or two, No worries, No hospitals, no accidents, no nuttin. I think they should move to another city, or maybe country, start new, tooo much bad memories.

Kg real life is hard .can’t live in a Fan Fiction life all the time. My HUSBAND has cancer of the lung.and Leukemia. I just dislocated my shoulder [mopping and fell] My grndson fell skateboarding and and dislocated his Knee. and Yesterday we spend the day at Parkland Hospital Burn center. Granddaughter burned her self hot grease. Shit we got up this morning just happy to get up and started a new day .and hope for many moredays god or bad. Dont read and dont keep knocking the writers they are doing this for zeromoney and taking there time an energy to try to please a lot and you don’t seem to be one of them.

Lauren you’re doing a marvellous job here, don’t let anyone or anything tell you what to do with your story. You’re the writer, you have every right to write what you pleases. Dumb comments left aside, I love your story and I would hate to see it end. Shit happens always in someone life, maybe kg is just the lucky one who was walking around it.
