They wake up next morning still in each others arms. But now face to face. Bette leans in and softly kissing Tina’s nose. Tina opens her eyes and smiles.
“Good morning.” She says almost in a whisper.
“Morning.” Bette replies and smiles.
Just after saying good morning to each other they hear Angelica calling out for them.
“Mama, mommy. I awake.” She calls out.
“Hold on sweetie. We’re coming.” Tina shouts back.
“I guess we’re getting out of bed.” Tina says and smiles.
“Yeah.” Bette says and leans in once more and kisses Tina.
They get out, Bette gets into the bathroom while Tina get Angelica. Tina then knocks on the bathroom door.
“Come in.” Bette says. Tina and Angelica walks in.
“Mama.” Angelica says and smiles.
“Hey, sweetie.” Bette says and kisses her cheek.
“I have to go.” Angelica says.
“Okay. Tina, grab the potty over there.” Bette says and points to the closet.
“Sure.” Tina says and then places it down on the floor. “Here you go.” Tina says.
“No, don’t want to.” Angelica says.
“Sweetie, you have to. You’re three years old, you’re a big girl now…” Bette starts.
“I am?” She asks.
“Yes, you are, and big girls have to use the potty.” Bette continues. Tina smiles at her daughter. “Shall we give it a try?” Bette asks.
“Okay.” Angelica replies.
“That’s my girl.” Bette says and kisses her cheek. She takes Angelica’s pj pants off and then her diaper. Angelica takes a seat on the potty.
“Oooh, is cold.” Angelica says as she jumps up and giggles
“It gets warm really quick.” Bette says.
“Okay.” Angelica says and sits down again. After a few seconds she pees. She smiles widely. “I pee.” She says and looks up at her mothers.
“Yes you did, we’re so proud of you.” Tina says. She hands Bette some paper so Bette dries her up. Tina then takes her and brings her into Angelica’s bedroom to put on new clothes.
An hour later and they just finished breakfast.
“So what are your plans today?” Tina asks.
“Relaxing and pack a little I guess.” Bette replies.
“Okay. I have to go to work. So I guess I should get going. I have to stop by the apartment to change.” Tina says.

It feels like I haven’t read a post from you in awhile…you were missed. Is Bette in more pain than she is letting on…or is she really using this time to reflect? I love this story.
I think Bette is sure that she wants a whole family with Tina and Angelica. kit’s right int hat it’s probably all hitting her now and it’s overwhelming. Plus we really all do need “me” time once in awhile. Just because two people are in a relationship doesn’t mean they need to be up each others’ hind ends 24/7.
Yeah, I was wondering what was bothering Bette. Soon she will not be in the same country as Tina even if it is for one month. I would think that she would be spending as much time as possible with Tina and Angel. Don’t stay too busy.
I guess Bette will be ok, sometimes one needs time alone to sort things out. Great chapter.
