Tina turns around, just as she fasten the hair clip, pinning the hair up. Bette leans in for a kiss.

“I love you.” She says and softly touches Tina’s face.

“I love you too.” Tina replies, smiling.

“So ,are you ready to go now?” Bette asks.

“Yes, I am. Let’s go.” Tina says.

Bette grabs the bag again and Tina locks up. They check out of the hotel and drive straight over to Cedars. Bette called Shane on their way over and got the information about where Dana is. They park the car and hurries up to the fifth floor. They stops at the nurses station.

“Hello, can you tell me where Dana Fairbanks is?” Bette asks.

“Are you family?” The nurse asks.

“No, but I am her best friend.” Bette replies.

“Sorry, but her parents has given us instructions to not let anyone but her family through. I’m sorry.” The nurse says.

“Is her parents in there now?” Bette asks.

“Yes, they are.” The nurse says.

“Could you go in and tell Sharon that Bette Porter is here?” Bette asks, as a few tears escapes her eyes.

They nurse thinks for a second. “Please?” Bette pleads.

“Okay, wait here.” The nurse says.

“Thank you.” Bette says.

Tina places her hand on Bette’s back and gently strokes it up and down. A minute later, the nurse walks out with Sharon. Bette rushes up to her.

“Sharon, how is she? “Bette asks right away.

“Not good, Bette. You want to see her?” Sharon asks.

“Yes, please.” Bette replies.

“Okay, come with me.” Sharon says and starts walking towards the room again.

“T, would you mind staying out here?” Bette asks.

“No, go on. I’ll wait here.” Tina says and smiles. Bette leans in for a kiss.

“I wont be long.” Bette says as she rushes after Sharon.

Inside the room, there are beeps from the machines. And Dana is hooked up to a respirator. Bette is shocked at the sight. She covers her mouth.

“Oh my God.” She whispers.

Sharon starts to fill Bette in on Dana’s condition.

“She can’t breathe on her own. They had to do a “Tracheostomy”. Her pelvis is broken, her left leg I shattered. Her left wrist is broken. Four of her ribs are also broken.” Sharon says, her voice breaking. “She hit her head pretty bad. The brain is swollen up. They won’t know how large the damage is, until the swelling goes down. And then there is the visible bruises. They don’t know if she’s wake up.” Sharon says and leans into her husband.
