    Author Notes:

    The ultrasound… Bette hits the floor…. Why?

    “Bette, take a deep breath.” Dr. Wilson says.

    “Babe, look at me.” Tina says and Bette looks at her. “Breath.” Tina says and smile down at her, stroking her chin. “Calm down babe.” Tina says.

    Bette starts to calm down.

    “We’re having twins.” Bette says softly. “Oh my God.” She adds and then she lights up.

    “Yeah we are.” Tina says silently.

    “Come here.” Bette says and pulls Tina down. They kiss. “I love you.” She whispers.

    “I love you too.” Tina replies and stands up again.

    “Okay, I’m good now. “Bette says and tries to get out of the bed.

    “No, Bette, stay there for a few more minutes, calm down for a moment. I’ll leave you two alone a few minutes.” Dr. Wilson says and leaves.

    “I’m sorry I passed out.” Bette says.

    “It’s okay, I wanted to pass out too.” Tina replies with a smile.

    “I’m glad you didn’t.” Bette says and slowly sit up straight. Tina takes a seat next to her and put her arm around her. “I think we need to get more furniture.” Bette says and lets out a little laugh.
    “Yeah, we do.” Tina replies.

    “Did she see if it was two boys or a girl?” Bette asks.

    “No, I don’t think she saw that. We’ll just have to wait.” Tina says.

    “Yeah, I guess so. So should we get out of here? Do some shopping?” Bette says and slowly stands up.

    “Babe, are you up to it? I mean you just passed out and was out for a few minutes. We don’t have to do it today, we can go home and rest.” Tina says.

    “Baby, I’m okay. We can do some shopping, then go home and rest, okay. You need new clothes. I’ll be fine.” Bette says.

    “Okay.” Tina replies.

    20 minutes later they parked outside Sears.

    “Why do you want to shop your clothes here?” Bette asks. “There are so many nice shops downtown.” She adds.

    “Babe, I don’t need clothes that costs 200 bucks each. I just need something that looks okay, and is comfortable. I have bought many clothes from Sears, I won’t want to stop, just because I can afford to shop at Fred Segal.” Tina says and gets out of the car. She waits for Bette to come out and reaches out her hand.

    “I don’t want our kids to not respect money. They are going to earn their allowance. If they get it too easy, they will just assume that they don’t have to do anything, because mom and mom will just pay.” Tina says.

    “I agree T. I was just saying, that you should have something nice, I want you to treat yourself with a beautiful dress or a great shirt.” Bette says.

    “And I will. They have great clothes here Babe. But if you’ll feel better, you can always buy me a gift.” Tina says and grins.

    “I might do that.” Bette says and leans in for a kiss.

    24. First of all loving all the updates I had to catch up on since I last was on the site. Love the part where Bette passed out, that really made me smile big time. And then 133 chapters Lauren – how the hell do you keep going….I mean I have writen about 30 and the inspiration has been away for some time now…but there might be light of the end of the tunnel. Always a pleasor Lauren and do keep going. Post soon
