    The ultrasound… Bette hits the floor…. Why?





    Chapter 133

     

    It’s Monday, Tina is eating breakfast. Bette went to work early so she could get away till noon. The phone rings.

    “Hello?” Tina says.

    “Hey baby, it’s me.” Bette says.

    “Hi, why didn’t you say goodbye this morning?” Tina asks a little pouty.

    “You looked so peaceful, I didn’t want to wake you.” Bette replies.

    “So when are you coming?” Tina asks.

    “Well, the appointment is at noon right? So I’ll be home around quarter past eleven.” Bette replies. “And after we’ll go shopping.” Bette adds.

    “I can’t wait.” Tina replies.

    “Okay, I’ll see you in a few hours. Love you.” Bette says.

    “Love you too. Drive carefully.” Tina replies and the hang up.

    The hours go by fast and suddenly Bette walks through the door.

    “Baby I’m home.” Bette says and walks towards the bedroom to set her bag there.

    She walk in and smiles. Tina is sleeping on Bette’s side, holding her pillow. She walks over and kneels beside her, gently stroking her angelic face. She sits and watches her for a few minutes. Tina starts to stir a little.

    “Baby?” Bette says and softly runs her fingers through Tina’s hair.

    Tina slowly opens her eyes. She smiles at the face in front of her.

    “Hi. What time is it?” Tina asks.

    “It’s 11, we have plenty of time.” Bette replies.

    “I was so tired, and my back hurt a little, so I just l lied down to rest a little, but I guess I fell asleep.” Tina says.

    “That’s okay, it’s good you rest up now while you can.” Bette says and continue to stroke Tina’s hair. “So are you ready for the ultrasound?” Bette asks smiling.

    “Yeah, I can’t wait to get a look at him.” Tina says and takes Bette’s hand and kisses it. “Help me up?” Tina asks.

    Bette helps Tina up.

    “Do you want to change your clothes?” Bette asks.

    “Don’t you like it?” Tina asks.

    “Off course I do, but I thought you might wanted to change, since you’ve been sleeping in these.” Bette replies and smiles.

    “Oh, yeah.” Tina says and let out a small giggle.

    Bette leans in for a kiss.

    “I’ll wait out in the kitchen.” Bette says and leaves.

    Tina change her clothes and walk out.

    24. First of all loving all the updates I had to catch up on since I last was on the site. Love the part where Bette passed out, that really made me smile big time. And then 133 chapters Lauren – how the hell do you keep going….I mean I have writen about 30 and the inspiration has been away for some time now…but there might be light of the end of the tunnel. Always a pleasor Lauren and do keep going. Post soon
