Chapter 132

“Babe?” Tina says before they get out of the car.

“Yeah.” Bette replies.

“We forgot to buy clothes for me.” Tina says and smiles.

“Oh, yeah, we did. Why don’t we go on Monday, after the ultrasound. I’ll take the day off from noon.” Bette says.

“Okay.” Tina says and smiles.

“Come on, let’s get all this inside.” Bette says.

“Yep.” Tina says and gets out of the car.

They carries the bags in first.

Tina starts to walk out again.

“Baby, stop. You are not going to lift anything. Think about the baby.” Bette says and looks at her.

“Right, but you can’t do it alone.” Tina says. “I’ll call Jessie.” Tina says.

“You do that, I’ll go and make us some lunch.” Bette says and leans in for a quick kiss.

Tina picks up the phone and dials Stephanie’s number.

“Hello?” A young voice says.

“Hi, William, it’s Tina. How are you?” She asks and smiles.

“Tina, hi. We had ice cream, but Matt lost his, so I gave him mine.” William says.

“You did, that was very sweet of you.” Tina says. “Look Will, is Jessie there?” Tina asks.

“Yeah, she is. She’s home from school. Where is Bette?” He says.

Tina couldn’t help but smile. He’s almost 5 now and still is totally in love with Bette.

“She’s here with me. William, could you give the phone to Jessie?” Tina asks.

“I want to talk to Bette, please aunt Tina.” He pleads.

“Oh okay. Could you tell Jessie to call Tina’s cell phone?” Tina asks.

“Okay. JessieAunt Tina wants you to call her cell phone.” He shouts.

“Can I talk to Aunt Bette now?” William asks.

“Sure, hold on.” Tina walks into the kitchen.

“Babe. William wants to talk to you. I couldn’t say no.” Tina says and smiles.

“Oh, that’s okay. Haven’t seen him in a couple of months, I actually miss him.” Bette says and smiles.

“Yeah, I figured.” Tina says and give Bette the phone. Just as Tina’s cell rings.

“Jessie, hi. I couldn’t get William off the phone, he just had to talk to Bette.” Tina says and smiles.

“Yeah, something’s never change.” Jessie says. “So, what’s up?” Jessie asks

“Well I was wondering if you would like to come over, stay for dinner. And we need some lifting help.” Tina says and smiles.
