    Bette uses her clubs again, poker night turned into movie night :)

     

    Hi, Tina its me. Bette says and smiles.

    Yeah, Im good. Im just calling to say that Ill stop by tonight if your offer still stands. Bette says and waits for Tina to answer.

    Good, but Ill bring Dana, as you said I might need a buffer. Bette says and smiles.

    Yeah, okay, Ill see you at 6. Bette says and hangs up. She smiles to herself.

     

    She then calls Danas cell, leaving her a message about meeting her at her apartment at 6.

    Bette went back to the golf course and the driving range. She brought with her a pitch. She placed herself on a mat, laid down a ball. She then grabbed the club. She took a few test swings first. She felt a little pain in her leg, but not enough to quit. She then swung her club and hit the ball perfectly. Her new swing wasnt the most perfect but, she didnt care. She jumped up and down on her good leg a few times out of joy.

    What she didnt know, was that her mother had been watching her from her window. She smiled from ear to ear. Thats it Bette, keep going, youll be back before you know it. Mom says to herself. Bette continued and hitting ball after ball. After about 20 balls, she stopped, her leg was really hurting now. She went back inside and knocked on her mothers office.

    Come in. She says.

    Hi, mom What are you so happy about? Bette asks. She then realizes.

    You saw me, didnt you? Bette says and smiles.

    Yes, I did. Her mom says.

    So what did you think? Bette asks.

    Well, you new swing isnt the best Ive seen, but I dont care about that, Im just so happy that you are able to do it again. Your perfect swing will come back when your leg has healed more. Mom says.

    Yeah. Do you have some pain killers? Bette asks. I think Ill take it a little slower next time, maybe not as many as 20 balls. Bette says and laughs to her mother.

    Here you go. She says and hands Bette some pills.

    Thank you. Bette says and swallows them.

    So, Bette hows it going with this Kennard woman? Mom asks. Her name is Tina mom, you can call her Tina. Bette says looking at her mother.
