    Chapter 100

     

    They make their way down the stairs, hand in hand. Everyone looks at them and smiles. They look at each other and leans in for a kiss, which makes everyone cheer happily. They get to the floor. Maxine walks up to them. She stops in front of Tina. Bette gets ready to tell her mom to stop. But Maxine holds up her hand.

    “Tina, you look beautiful today.” Maxine says.

    “Thank you.” Tina says and smiles, she glances over at Bette.

    “I want to again apologize for what I said to you all those months ago.” Maxine says.

    “It’s okay, you already did that.” Tina replies.

    “I know” She starts. “I was wrong about you. I can see it now clearly. I have never seen my daughter so happy as I’ve seen her today. And that is because of you.” Maxine says. Tina smiles and looks over at Bette who has tears in her eyes.

    “Thank you.” Tina says and gives Maxine a hug. “I’ve never been happier too.” Tina adds. Bette also gives her mom and hug.

    While Bette and Maxine talk, she walks over to her dad.

    “Thank you.” She says and gives him a hug too.

    “You’re welcome. It was the least I could do. It’s a father’s job. I’ve failed in so much at least I got something right.” He says and gives her a smile

    Sarah walks over to them.

    “My God Tina. You are so beautiful today.” Sarah says.

    “Thank you.” Tina replies smiling.

    “The ceremony was beautiful, and your vows simply beautiful.” Sarah says.

    “Yeah, I loved it. Bette’s words were so I don’t have any words for them. I loved it. And I love her so much. I feel like my heart is going to burst any minute.” Tina says with a smile.

    “Oh, I don’t want that to happen.” Bette says coming up from behind and sliding her arms around Tina’s waist and softly kissing her neck. “I need your heart intact.” Bette says and let out a little laugh.

    “Yeah, I need it intact to, so I can love you with all of it.” Tina replies, laughing back at her. Sarah smiles too.

    Shane walks halfway up the stairs to say something.

    6. Lauren..great update. Loved Bette singing to Tina. Of course..Alice had to break the silence, it just wouldn’t be Alice if she didn’t. It’s nice that they’ll be spending Christmas with their family. Thanks for the story Lauren.

      What could I add ? I loved it. And the lyrics are wonderful :

    10. AHHHHHHHHH I finally finished it all (and we know this is definitely not the end!). I’m sitting here at work grinning like a big dork. lol

      I know this isn’t relevant to the latest chapter, but it’s something that’s stayed in my mind since Jessie was first introduced. I could be WAY off, but I keep having this feeling that she’s somehow connected to someone else in the gang. Could that be any future “drama?” Guess we’ll have to wait and see. ;)

      Oh, and lovely wedding ceremony. And Bette singing? OMG too sweet.
