Tina went to look for Bette. Tina found Bette in their bed face down sleeping with her clothes on. Tina smiled and took off Bette’s shoes. She thought about taking off Bette’s clothes but knew this would wake her up. She shut the door and walked quietly back to the living room.

Tina: Bette’s fallen fast asleep.

Wanda: Well honey I can wait to get my things out of my car and you should not be lifting anything Tina.

Tina: Mom I feel okay, really.

Wanda: I know Tina but remember the doctor’s orders.

Tina: Your right mother and I love you and thanks for coming home with us.

Wanda: Tina you don’t have to thank me and I wish your dad would stop being so pigheaded and join us.

Tina: Me too mom. Me too. Mom!

Wanda: Yeah

Tina: Why does dad not want to stay with Bette and I? I thought he had accepted the fact that I am gay a long time ago.

Wanda: Dear has nothing to do with you being gay, its just that Frank doesn’t want to accept the fact that his little girl is all grown up.

Tina: Well you would think that have twins would have driven that point home to him.

Wanda: Yeah I have to say that I was shocked about you having twins but Frank is living in his on little fantasy world concerning his baby girl.

Tina: I suppose your right Mom.

 “Well you know what they say about mothers, they are always right,” Wanda jokingly states.

Tina just laughs

Wanda: Which reminds me, I need to cook for us. What do you have in this here kitchen to cook?

Tina knew better to argue with her mother concerning cooking. So she just let her mother have her way.

Tina: Bette went to the store the day before I delivered so we should have plenty of food. Choose want ever you want to cook.

Wanda looked through the cabinets and decided on chicken pasta. A hour later Bette woke up from the nap she didn’t realize she was taking. She was surprised to be in her own bed fully clothed.
