    The party, part one of many.

    She glanced at her older sister, expecting to see a beer already half way gone. But, there was nothing in Ashley’s hands. Kyla looked quizzically at her. Ashley just shrugged, reaching into the cooler Kyla was at, and pulling out a Red Bull. The sisters smiled at each other, passing information and promises silently.

    Popping the tab, Ashley took a swig of the sugary liquid and leaned against the counter. Her heart was racing as she scanned the faces of the party goers with hopes of catching Spencer. Or at least Chelsea, to make sure Spencer really was there. She glanced to her side, just as a guy approached Kyla. She smirked and rolled her eyes, ignoring the incessant flirting that was going on. She was just happy Kyla was over Aiden. Supposedly, he’d transferred schools. Ashley was slightly disappointed, but more relieved. She missed him, but they couldn’t be friends. It was just too complicated.

    Suddenly, Ashley shivered as she felt someone’s hot breath on her ear, a hand making it’s way to her toned abs. “I thought that was you,” the voice said. It wasn’t Spencer’s voice though. For a moment, Ashley had let herself pretend it was. She closed her eyes, imagining that the fingers gliding over her skin were Spencer’s. That the breath against her ear came from Spencer’s lungs. Gulping, she opened them when she felt teeth lightly biting at her ear lobe.

    “Don’t Angie,” she said, tilting her head to escape the girl’s mouth. Ashley lightly pushed the girl’s hand away, looking at her. She hadn’t seen Angie in forever. Since before she and Spencer had gotten together. They never were anything special. Angie had just been a girl. A girl to fuck and feel. A girl to lavish attention on her. A hot girl, but just a girl. They hadn’t ended badly. Both just stopped calling the other after a weekend in bed. At the time, neither was looking for attachments.

    “Awe, don’t be that way baby,” the girl said, ignoring the glares Kyla was shooting her. “I’m sorry I never called.”

    Ashley almost laughed. Did this girl really think that she was hung up over that? There had been no feelings involved, and Angie certainly hadn’t left her as a woman scorned. She was about to say something completely sarcastic, when a rolling laugh caught her attention. Her eyes immediately cut from the red head, and turned towards the sliding glass door. Her breath hitched. Spencer.

    1. I think Spencer has been up to no good this summer. There’s really no trace of the innocent Spencer we all used to know is there? I don’t know what all Spencer has been up to during the summer but I do know that Ashley will flip her lid when she finds out. I love this story! Once again, where are Paula and Arthur?

    2. She was conflicted between wanting to grab Spencer and throw her into a bedroom, and wanting to grab Spencer and put some damn clothes on her. – I love that line! There’s a thin line between love and hate and that is where we find Spencer, she yearns for her lover and in the same breath she desires to make her suffer as she does. Quite a conundrum. You write it so well. Side note: Ashley! how could you possibly not know that someone was sucking on your neck? Duh! Looking forward to the next chapter.

    3. i know i already reviewed this but please update soon i’ve been looking all the time for the next post really want to find out what goes down at this party and if ash can get our beloved spencer back…
