We pulled up in front of his house instead of mine. “I just want to run in and grab something I got for you well for both of us; I forget them when I left earlier today.”

I gave him a confused look before he bolted into the house leaving me in the car with a what the fuck look on my face. He was quick to return yelling back to someone on his way to the car.

“I’m going to find her mom, I always do”

“You know how she gets sweetie, she’s tried to run before and we both know what will happen like last time”

“Mom I know, I promise to bring her back” Mrs. Davis eyes widen as she took in the sight of me sitting in the car. She quickly appeared to wipe her hand a crossed her cheeks and took a step out on to the porch.

“Oh Spencer dear it’s so lovely to see you again.” I gave a slight wave and responded with a you two. She gave Aiden a look which seemed to have a clear meaning to him, before saying goodbye to me and returning inside the mansion.

Aiden ran to the car and got back into the driver’s seat, starting up the car.

“Listen Spencer I got us tickets to our senior prom, well my senior prom but I wanted to ask you to go with me. But I got to do something for my mom right now so I need to just drop you off and we can talk about this later ok?”

The whole prom thing didn’t even register in my brain all I cared about was what Aiden had to do that was so important.

“Where are you going after you drop me off” I asked as Aiden was already driving in the direct of my house at a fast rate of speed

“I… just have to pick someone up” He glanced at me before quickly returning his eyes back to the road

“Who?”

“Does it matter?” His grip on the steering wheel tightened.

“Yes it does if you’re going to pick up some random girl Aiden”

“It not so don’t worry about it ok”

“Then I’m going with you, I don’t see why not” I really don’t care if Aiden is picking up some other girl or not I’m just curious why he is being so secretive about it.
