I awoke feeling a faint breeze blowing a crossed my cheek, peering through my heavy eye lids I noticed that my window had been open, as my curtain swayed back and forth.  I lifted myself up into a sitting position running my fingers in my hair. Rubbing my eyes I looked around my room putting two and two together. Passing my hand over the now empty spot next to me on the bed and glance back to the open window I came to the conclusion that Ashley had left me during the night.

I’m not going to lie, I’m a little disappointed that she left but I can’t blame her at least she stayed with me until I fell asleep. Dragging myself out of bed I gather a change of clothes and hopped into the shower. Fresh out of the shower I changed and trudged my way down the steps into the kitchen to gets some breakfast.

“Morning” I say as I enter the kitchen taking in the sight of my whole family eat chocolate chip pancakes at the table.

“Sweetie you don’t look to well, how did you sleep?” I give my mom a warily smile and took my sit next to Glen.

“Fine I’m just still a little tired that’s all”

“Well you better get it together because Madison wanted me to ask if you and Aiden wanted to go miniature golfing with us”

“Like a double date really Glen?” I give him a look as I reached for a plate and start putting pancakes on it.

“Ya what’s wrong with that?”

“Well I could do many other things with my day instead of watching my brother and my best friend make out” I state stuffing my mouth with pancake

“Like it’s any easier for me to not throw up watching you and Aiden suck face” Glen replies making a gagging sound

“Oh really and do tell dear brother one time that you have actually witnessed me and Aiden kissing”

Glens face scrunched up as he thought about my question.

“Umm I don’t know…..I can’t remember” he says rubbing the back of his neck

“My point exactly” I respond with a smug look on my face

“Well that’s not my problem if you’re just a prude” Glen says laughing
